Everything was perfect! We stayed for 3 days, it was perfect for a quick getaway. Keep in mind it’s about 90 minutes away from the airport so be sure to book transportation services, the resort itself does not provide it but Amstar is on the property. The hotel facilities were very nice, the beach and pool were awesome. The staff was always friendly. The service was slow, often saying they would do something and then never doing the task (like bringing in a roller bed when they ran out of rooms that fit 3 people). The room smelled like smoke and we were told they would "spray the room" which wasn't helpful but also never happened. The lifeguards at the water slides were very hands off, even when a first aid issue came up under their watch. When asked for ice for the first aid issue, it never arrived. The food wasn't good.

We have stayed at many all-inclusive and resorts - we're seasoned travelers. This place has OK accommodations ( not great) and OK food (also not great). But the service is just terrible. Waiting 30 minutes to get a drink frequently, or waiters that just done wait on you nor bring the food until you demand service. But we also had 3 infants and were assured they would have cribs for them There were no cribs the whole time - they just lied. There's just too many other nice places to stay way closer to the airport. I would never return here
