Escape to a stunning, sunshine filled new beach house just steps from the water's edge with a spacious layout that can comfortably accommodate 12 guests. This newly built home offers breathtaking views of the lake and dunes from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies and living area. The sound of the waves will lull you to sleep each night - as the location is unbeatable; with Lake Michigan, Washington Park, the Zoo, the harbor, concerts, and three restaurants, all within walking distance. The approach to the house is private, accessed by a gravel driveway with parking for up to three cars.

ON THE GROUND LEVEL there are two bedrooms and an open family room with couches, games and a TV. One bedroom has a queen bed and another has a set of twin beds. Two of these twins can be converted to a King upon request. On this floor there is also a full bath with bathtub and laundry room with top loading washer & dryer.

THE SECOND LEVEL is one continuous open space with breathtaking lake views, sunshine throughout the day, beautiful exposed wooden beams and a balcony facing the lake - a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The large, fully equipped modern kitchen is perfect for cooking and entertaining, with an elegant island and dining space. There is a comfortable sitting area with a TV and reading area and a bath with a walk-in shower.

THE THIRD LEVEL features 2 rooms and a den. The gorgeous master bedroom has a king size bed and a private balcony overlooking the dunes and lake - with easy chairs. The Queen size bedroom has a reading nook, chair, and private closet. All rooms share a large designer bath with a classy shower (with seat) and double vanity. Additionally, there's a den with a pull-out couch (bed) and an office desk - perfect for morning emails before you hit the beach.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES include a second-level glass balcony with seating and lake views, perfect for watching sunsets over the Chicago skyline. On the ground level, guests can relax on the patio and enjoy the beachy vibe, while the third-floor balcony offers a more private space to unwind. The house also features a gas grill for BBQs and a wagon to transport beach gear to and from the water (a 5 minute stroll down a sandy path).

DuneGates is located in Sheridan Beach, Michigan City, Indiana, near the intersection of Nevada Ave, Colfax Ave and the lake; a prime vacation spot along the lakefront. The driveway provides parking for up to three vehicles. Additional street parking is available in the neighborhood. Guests must be at least 25 years old and present for the duration of their stay to reserve. Smoking, vaping, parties of any type and fireworks are strictly prohibited. Small sized dogs, 30 lbs or less, are permitted.
