The room was clean and well-stocked. Most of the staff were friendly but not enthusiastically. We did get a good explanation of times when we first checked in. They didn’t ask if we have questions or need help. Mostly, they weren’t at the desk when we walked through the lobby. The food was not very good, but we can settle for yoghurt or cereal. We liked that there’s always coffee. We never ask for maid service, so I can’t rate that.

Our room was upgraded but when I went to take a shower there was no body wash. Went downstairs to tell her and she came up to replace it. He went to take a shower later and found out it was replaced with body lotion. So both of us ended up taking a shower with no soap. Also the place was nosey. If we stay in Michigan City again we will be trying a new place.
