The Little Lake House is a cozy & walkable newly renovated 2 bedroom Midland retreat.
Located close to downtown Midland, and a short walk from Little Lake Park, this is the perfect spot for your next stay in Midland.
Relax, and read a book in the little backyard. Go out for a scrumptious meal downtown, or choose to stay in, and cook in our airy & bright kitchen. With 2 cozy bedrooms, you`ll feel well rested in one of our pillow-top beds.

This is a cycle friendly home! We have a sun room that is available to store your bikes over night.
The house is conveniently located minutes away from Simcoe County trails and within a 5-minute drive to nearby attractions like Marty`s Shrine, St. Marie Among the Hurons, and Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. We are approximately 25 minutes from Mount St. Louis, 30 minutes from Horseshoe Valley, and 60 minutes from Blue Mountains.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, but must be added to your reservation and approved in advance.
Our pet policy is as follows:
- Pets are NOT permitted on any beds. Our linens are white, and we work hard to keep them in excellent condition.
- If you wish to have your pet on the bed with you, please bring your own bedding.
- Pets must never be left unattended, indoors or outdoors.
- Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside.
- Any damage caused by your pet is the owner’s full responsibility, and repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
- Please ensure your pet does not bark excessively or disturb neighbours.
- You must clean up after your pet in the yard.
We are always available by phone or text
The Little Lake House is located close to Little Lake but is not directly on the lake.
Lawn care will make a quick stop by on Thursdays or Fridays.
Snow care will stop by as needed, but there is a shovel for your convenience.
The house is situated on a busy street, which means you may hear traffic or construction noise at times. The home has a good sound barrier, but if you`re very sensitive to noise, this may not be the best fit.
The property is in front of a retirement home parking lot, but you will have a private driveway next to the house which can accommodate up to 2 cars.
The backyard does back on to the retirement home parking lot but there are tall hedges for privacy, making it a comfortable space to enjoy the outdoors. Please note however, it is not 100% secluded, so there may be some visibility from the surrounding area.
Payment is due at the time of booking. Confirmed guests will receive a link to our guest portal to sign our rental agreement and view booking details (including payments and receipts).
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
100% Refund: For cancellations made 30 days or more before the check-in date.
50% Refund: For cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the check-in date.
No Refund: For cancellations made 14 days or fewer before the check-in date.
A $500 security hold will be placed on the guest’s credit card 3 days prior to check-in. This is a pre-authorization only and no funds will be charged unless damage or excessive cleaning is identified after check-out.
- Our maximum guest policy is 4. All guests must be registered at the time of booking. Extra guests including day visitors are not permitted.
- No open flames inside property
- No fires outside or on the property
- Upon departure log out of personal apps on tv
