Comfortable cabin in the mountains of North Carolina, located near TIEC.

Our location is 1/2 mile from TIEC, (Tryon International Equestrian Center).
Cabins are NOT SOUNDPROOF
Each cabin (upper and lower) has a quality, king-sized, double, inner coil air bed and heat/air conditioning. Other features include an upper deck close to the trees and a fire pit located near the Grand Porch. Our cabins have been built with our labor and with the hands of veterans, local people, some with challenges.

Lower cabins, (#2-#6) have private bathrooms and kitchenettes attached to an enclosed, sheltered, private deck. Upper cabins, (#22-#26) have shared bathrooms. We provide complimentary K-cups and snacks for our guests.

This is a "glamping experience", not a hotel stay, almost like camping. The cabins are NOT soundproof. You will likely hear birds; acorns falling upon the tin roof and will see butterflies and lightening bugs. You can take advantage of our Grand Porch to enjoy the fresh air, the mountains and sky. Our Grand Porch is also a wonderful spot for an outdoor wedding.

We love and appreciate our trees. We have tried to keep the natural atmosphere by not removing too many of them. The atmosphere is relaxing. The upper deck makes you feel like you are sitting in the trees and at night, you are a little closer to the stars.

Great location for TIEC

This is indeed a “glamping” situation. The beds are air mattresses but comfortable. The dining area and bathroom do not have AC. We were there for a horse show so did not get to enjoy the grounds but the location was great and the setting is peaceful. The AC in the room worked well and I appreciated the owner was accommodating and very helpful.
