There was no hot water. Contact phone number was disconnected so there was nothing we could do about it. I assume the large house next to the rental was the owner so I knocked and rang, but no one answered. The microwave was pretty dirty inside. I also wanted to use the hot tub but could not find it in the dark. There is very little lighting outside after dark and no map of the property. The door was unlocked and the keys were on the microwave upon arrival, but I was unsure if there was a check-in process because there were no instructions given. Greeted by a Doberman pinscher who was very nice, but if you are afraid of dogs, probably not a great surprise. I like dogs and this one was well trained. Sits and shakes on command. There is also a friendly cat. There was no blanket on the bed. Just sheets and a top cover. Goats and chickens on the property was nice. The unit itself is pretty cute. I rotated the couch to face the TV. Couch could use a blanket as well. TV was pretty small. With a few upgrades, this place would be a really awesome place to stay. I love supporting independent so I hope adjustments are made. My biggest gripe was the lack of hot water. A fire pit or something might be cool too.

The location was great. Loved seeing the farm animals. Very Friendly dog. The cottage was super cute. Our host allowed us to check in an hour before check in time. The bed was not bad at all slept soundly.The cottage inside was very dusty, The shower needed a good scrubbing, there was left over hair from the last guest. Over all it would have been perfect if were cleaner.

Overall, our stay was okay. Pros:-Cottage was the perfect size-Decorated with space in mind-Overall pretty quiet-Super quick responses from hostCons:-Cottage was literally 10 steps away from the main house(facing main house)-No pool/hot tub - i believe it was at the main house- The bed was uncomfortable. Possibly because of the mattress topper.-Had ants in bathroom

There was a bit of a hiccup with our booking but thanks to the quick thinking and great communication from our host everything worked out just great. We enjoyed using the hot tub while being guarded by one of the super friendly cats on the property. There’s a few friendly cats, some chatty yet indifferent goats, some chickens and a big ole dog that is definitely a friendly friend. It’s very serene out there and it’s very easy to just relax the night away.

We got in super late but enjoyed our stay! Very cute, clean, quiet. The property seems to be shared with the owner or perhaps another family. Lovely little farm/ranch setting with a cat that loved to follow us around :) Enjoyed a little late night hot tub dip- the pool looked great as well, but unfortunately we did not have the time for a swim. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Nice place if you want just a place to stay with a clean bed and bathroom.., it's perfect. Nice and quiet. I will stay again when in the area
