We had a River View King room on the first floor. A key thing to know about this view is that the river is literally at your patio and it is loud rushing water - which we really liked. There is a solid door from your room out to the patio with a table and chairs and I found it to be lovely, sitting out there in the mornings with my coffee. The bathroom had an oversized jetted tub and dual shower heads, as well as pumps for shampoo and body wash (no bars of soap, no conditioner). You can opt for daily housekeeping. There is a gift shop, coffee machine, and small market off the lobby. There is a nice restaurant we enjoyed as well as a good pizza place in the same building. There are pools and hot tubs, a small fitness center and large gaming room. **The El Portal entrance to Yosemite NP is at the end of the hotel parking lot - it's another 10 minute drive to the Park Ranger kiosk where you pay to enter YNP. This is the ideal place to stay if you aren't staying inside the park - highly recommend!

Really liked having a breakfast and dinner restaurant on site. After spending hours in Yosemite each day, it was very convenient to start and end each day with a meal at the resort.

Location Location Location! I have stayed at this property multiple times. It is nice to see they have been gradually updating the rooms as it is an older facility. The sit down restaurant on site leaves much to be desired, overpriced and food is below mediocre, but the pizza place is very good. Gift shop has so many cute items. You just can't beat being right on the merced river, and so close to the entance of Yosemite.

Honestly I will be back to stay at this lodge again! I was able to bring my dog and it is so close to Yosemite! It was great. Parking was rough but I will return! Food at the restaurant was terrible ! It took over an hour r, my burger was rare and it was just too expensive! I should have gotten a refund!

Good size room. Very clean and updated. Room has a small kitchenette. Utensils, bowls and glasses are spotless and in good condition. Bring your own napkins and paper towels as they are not provided. Close to park entrance and short drive to Yosemite Valley. The only thing I don’t like about is the very soft bed. I didn’t sleep well.

Thin walls, I could hear the conversations word for word of my neighbors and even their snoring overnight. The beds were rock hard and for some reason the pillows were tiny. The internet was very spotty. On the positive side the rooms were spacious and the staff was great.

On our first night stay we had to request a room change. The heater was not working in our original room. We tried adjusting the heater temperature, but it was only blowing cold air. The outside temperature was already very cold. we were in our room having to wear our hoodies and beanies to keep warm. After getting moved to a room with a working heater, we had to call the front desk again. Our TV was not working. No one showed up on that night, we had to call back again on the following day to get that issue fixed. After that was taken care of it was good. But it was a big incoveniece not having a working TV
