Good location choice if you’re planning on going to Yosemite and Sequoia. There’s a lot of wilderness locations aswell on the side of the road. The hotel was clean, however a few spots need deep cleaning, for instance shower corners and on top of the bathroom doorways. Also I could hear the neighboring room talk extremely loudly at night and in the morning roughly at 9/10 am while having a conversation amongst my family; they “were concerned” with the noise from my room and complained to the front desk that we were being loud. Also no daily cleaning. It’s a pain to have to ask for extra supplies like towel paper and new towels. But overall easy check in and out and friendly staff.

Our stay had a few disappointments. There wasn’t a bellboy available, so we had to handle our own luggage. The pool area faced the parking lot, which made it feel less private. The rug seemed a bit dusty, and the overall cleanliness could have been better. There were also no water bottles provided in the room, which was a bit inconvenient. With a few improvements, this place could offer a much more comfortable experience.

This is a solid Holiday Inn property with all the standard good quality one would expect - clean, well furnished, comfortable mattress and good shower, with a very good breakfast (which include pancakes and yogurts). What did shine above other similar properties for us was the staff, which was super courteous and helpful from check in to check out. On our last day, for example, I was struggling trying figure out how to handle all the luggage without a cart because I couldn’t find one, the front desk clerk noticed I needed assistance and called the staff in each floor to try and locate a cart. Since none was available, they kept an eye out for it, and once there was one available, they set it aside and called my room. As a plus the place is convenient to the lake and the South Entrance of Yosemite.
