The apartment is part of an ancient restored stone Farmhouse Antica Masseria Timparuci which is located in a very safe and quiet area (the complete facility includes 5 units).
SCIROCCO Apartment is composed by:
- 2 separate double bedrooms (4 sleeps) on the mezzanine (each bedroom is about 15 sqm; there is an open wall onto the downstairs rooms); each with a private bathroom downstairs;
- 2 rooms on ground floor: the dining room with full equipped kitchenette inside and the TV/lounge room;
- private furnished terrace (bbq, garden table and chairs)

The property is located in the very peaceful countryside in the sorrounding area of Modica town (2,5 kms) and 15 minutes drive from the secluded beatiful countless beaches that dot the coastline of the wonderful South area of Sicily.
You can get to the house with your car and there is a free parking outside the door in a private area. It's strategic position on the southeastern most tip of Sicily, makes it the ideal base to discover the breathtaking beaches and the amazing wonders of the southeast Barocco district and the Unesco ….
The Antica Masseria Timparuci set in over 2 acres of breathtaking grounds which include a fragrant mediterranean garden, wild plamts and a its Big Pool, Timparuci offers unsurpassed comfort and relaxation.
This XVII century farmhouse was renovated on the 2009 to a high standard with all the main facilities including WiFi. clima.
As you can see from the pictures online, the apartment comprises a fully furnisshed kitchenette with all amenities, a living/dining area, bedrooms with king size double bed, wardrobes, a carefully laid out bathroom with designer toiletries, precious mosaic panel, shower, bidet. The outdoor area comprises one private terrace furnished with garden table, chairs and barbecue.

En pleine nature, idéalement placée pour visiter la Sicile Baroque

Accueil attentionné de Georgio, Cette masseria est entourée d’un très joli jardin arboré et cactée, elle dispose d’une très belle piscine. Vous êtes à quelques km des très belles cités Ragusa, Modica et Scicli. Seulement à 40’ environ de Noto et Syracuse. La superbe plage de Sampieri est à 12’ par la SP rapide. Enfin, vous trouverez de nombreux commerces de bouche de qualité à Modica. N’hésitez pas à flâner le soir à Scicli pour visiter les petits palais et déguster une glace chezNivera.

Logement agréable et bien aménagé, avec un très joli jardin et une superbe piscine, au calme avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon moment. Même les serviettes de bain sont fournies! Propriétaire sympathique, qui nous à fourni toutes les informations necessaires pour passer un très bon séjour.

Perfect stay!

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids of 13 and 11) had an absolutely amazing stay at Timparucci. The apartment Scirocco is exactly as in the pictures. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool and spending our evenings on the beautiful terrace BBQ'ing and sipping a glass of fine Sicilian wine. Although Timparucci is located in a quiet environment, you will find after a 5-10 min drive by car lots of supermarkets and a local bakery. The location is excellent for exploring the baroque cities of Modica, Ragusa, Noto and for enjoying hikes in the nature reserve of Vendicare or Cassibile. Giorgio and his family are in one word GREAT! Always there to help and give useful information! Giorgio and his family are always busy making the place even more beautiful than it already is. We had an amazing stay at Timparuci and hope to be back one day! All the best from Bruges, Belgium, Stefanie, Christophe, Mattéo & Mauro

The perfect base for a restful holiday.

Very comfortable accommodation. Well equipped. Fabulous pool and friendly owners. A great location for touring the Baroque towns and lovely beaches nearby. Only downside was the steep, squeaky staircase from the mezzanine bedroom to bathroom, on the ground floor. We had a lovely holiday and the weather was perfect.

Wonderful, serene getaway

We loved it here. It is so peaceful and serene and the apts were very, very clean and well appointed. We could hear the cow bells at night under the big sky of stars. It is just a short drive to the middle of the city where you can get all the excitement you like. Highly, highly recommend.

A paradise in the countryside

Lovely little house in a great area of lovely baroque towns which are great for exploring. The pool is the best I have ever swum in with lovely shadey spots for quiet reading. The house had everything we needed including the essential air con. Expect us to go back!

Peace near Modica

we had a really relaxing stay ...everyone was friendly despite language differences and this made the stay very enjoyable. the terrace and pool and garden were particularly lovely. we may come back in the future as the baroque towns are worth another trip! thank you Giorgio and family.

great accommodation!

As a Mum with 2 adult daughters (students), finding suitable self-catering accommodaion can be a challenge - but this met our needs pefectly: 2 bedrooms each with its own en suite, a lovely kitchen with everything you woulld need plus a fabulous pool and gardens. The girls commented on the sun loungers being the most comfortable! For us (our 2nd holiday in SE Sicily), it was a good location - with easy acess to towns and beaches. We would definitely recommend - a well designed and maintained accommodation

Calm and Peaceful Accommodation

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Scirocco. It was calm and peaceful, with plenty of space in the garden to wander in. The pool is beautifully positioned, sheltering it from the breeze when it blows. The apartment was fine, beds comfortable and the bathrooms excellent. The local area has a great deal to offer. There is a beautiful sandy beach at Pozzallo (and many others along the coast, but this was our favourite), plus lots of interesting towns to visit all within reasonable driving distance. We particularly enjoyed Scicli,Ragusa, Modica and Noto. For fans of baroque architecture, they were a treat. Other highlights were at Cava d'Ispica where the cave dwellings and burial chambers were amazing and of course chancing upon live filming in Ragusa of Montalbano and being able to observe that while we ate a light lunch in the piazza. We highly recommend a holiday in this corner of Sicily and Scirocco was good value indeed.
