Note we have been to this property 3 times in the past 17 years since it opened. It has gone down hill dramatically. 1. Issues began right out of the gate at check in. Took 30 mins - hour where the staff seemed carefree on moving with urgency to get people checked in. (Common thread the entire trip) 2. Though some of the employees had a good attitude, the majority made us feel like we were a nuisance and unwanted there. Notably rude individuals were the pool bar by the kid pool especially Nicholas who was never friendly and constantly talking under his breath to his coworkers in their language with attitude. 3. “Engineer” came to fix the air that remained at 80+ degrees most of the time. He was a jerk and could have cared less. 4. My son’s wrist band was too tight so we cut it off. Went back to the front desk where the women working it was rude about it all, rolling eyes etc. 5. Common theme across 90% of the property was rude, unwanting to help and work. No one has sense of urgency whatsoever. 6. Place was run down. Lots of workers making very little headway on maintenance. 7. Pool music would sometimes come on. If it did it did not start until 2 PM fo a very short time. 8. Very little entertainment, especially for kids. Only good entertainment was by the pool on the 2nd floor above the Mexican restaurant at night and some shows. Need to have constant things going on like all other resorts, again especially for the kids. Go somewhere else.

First, the room was really far. We had to walk so much and every time I go for a ride, nobody shows up my kids got all swollen and hurting because of walking too much to the pool. We got no help second the food was garbage. I am so sorry to say that, but we did not enjoy the food at all, and I have pictures and improvers Plus they made me lose one night with no refund.

The grounds were nice and the pool was big. The beach was nice as well. There were lots of options at the buffet. Our room backed onto the highway and there was a lot of traffic noise. We watched a police roadblock with machine guns from our balcony! The service at the restaurants was slow. It was hard to find water. Our fridge wasn’t stocked with water. The travel club sales people were very aggressive.

Rooms and amenities were better than belief. Staff was kind and respectful throughout the resort which is rare! Only issue was with the food spread being a little smaller in terms of international tastes. The à la cart restaurants attempt to fill the gap however waits are long with those offerings.

Everything was amazing except the buffet choices for a property this size and the employees could be a little more welcoming. The pool bar staff was always amazing. They engaged a lot with the guest.

The staff was extremely gracious and the room was spotlessly. I really enjoyed the food choices and I thought the hotel and amenities were fantastic! I would definitely stay at this resort again.

There was no elevator anywhere in the hotel, neither in the room buildings nor in the main building. This made our stay much more difficult, especially since we were travelling with a baby and a stroller. This information was never mentioned on the website, in emails, or during the reservation process, which was very disappointing considering this hotel is part of the Grand Palladium brand. In addition, several beach activities advertised on the website and in the hotel app were not available. There were no sailboats or windsurfing, which were activities I was really looking forward to during our trip. This felt like misleading advertising and was very frustrating.
