The holiday house Casa Cervognano, is plunged into a splendid landscape of silver olive groves and rows of vineyards, situated on a sweet hill, approx. 3 km far from Montepulciano, renowned village which embodies all Tuscan beauties, famous all over the world such as history, art, nature, good wine, extra virgin olive oil and genuine food.
The holiday house, intimate and cosy, makes the most of a particularly advantageous position which matches the possibility to spend serene holidays immersed into green quietness, with the opportunity to easily reach the most important art and cultural city centres of Tuscany and Umbria.

All around the house a large and panoramic garden equipped with gazebo, outdoor furniture, barbecue, a 8x4 m. swimming pool (depth m. 1,45 - open from 01st May to 30th September). and Jacuzzi bath (2 m x 2 m 4 people - open from 01st April to 02nd November) and 2 bikes.
The well-groomed furniture, the good level finishing touches, together with the house equipment guarantee a comfortable vacation.
The house is also endowed with air conditioning and solar panels. The owners are wine and extra virgin olive oil producers which will be possible to taste and buy on spot.

I’d rate this about a 3-star stay. The area is lovely, but the unit was uncomfortable and over-monitored. There are around eight cameras outside, including one pointed at the bedroom window and several aimed at the pool and hot tub, very unsettling with kids. The hot tub, which we booked the unit for, never heated above 29C and was constantly overfilled with freezing water by the owners. When I asked how to heat it, the host was short and said I wasn’t allowed to adjust it.They also charge 1 euro per kilowatt for A/C or heat… something not clearly stated at booking. There’s no couch or comfortable seating, and the Wi-Fi barely works outside the kitchen and one bedroom. Cute neighborhood, but between the hidden fees, cameras, and unusable hot tub, we would not stay here again.

Un incanto

Vacanza magica con accesso privilegiato a tutte le meraviglie della Val di Chiana e della Val D’Orcia. Clima stupendo e ventilato nonostante un agosto torrido in gran parte d’Italia. Proprietaria gentilissima e super disponibile, casetta davvero graziosa e ben tenuta (segnalo però entrambi i bagni ciechi senza bidet) con la piscina che ci ha ristorato al rientro dalle stupende gite. Purtroppo la vasca idromassaggio era inutilizzabile a causa della temperatura elevatissima. Essendo la casa tutta su un piano ed anche gli spazi esterni privi di barriere, la consiglio anche a chi ha disabilità motorie come me. Per giungere alla casetta c’è un impervio percorso sterrato in cui si viene attaccati da tafani molto aggressivi: chiudete i finestrini. Sconsigliato a chi è entomofobico.
