It suited us fine but we found it certainly less than âdeluxe.â The downstairs bedroom bathroom shower was particularly frustrating and disappointing - not easy to find water temp and pressure and the containers of soap, conditioner and shampoo were not labeled and filled with fluids that were had strangely congealed. The whole bathroom needs some updating and care. And it was difficult to use the nice front room to meet together given how far apart the chairs were. It wasnât at all cozy or hospitable.
Works very well for a large group. Plenty of rooms, beds and bathrooms. Plenty of seating space for large groups to gather. Location not good. When we told local people where we were staying they all said watch our backs. Donât go out at night. It is highly probable youâll hear gunshots. We did not hear gunshots but lots of sirens. And we found cockroaches.
House has lots of historic charm. Had a group of 7 adults to celebrate OTS graduation at Maxwell. Plenty of space and easy drive to base. Owner was responsive to a couple questions. Would stay here again.
