Private Suite on Eastern Kentucky Farm with Indoor Pickleball Court

Perfect farmstead getaway for couples or travelers needing a peaceful night on the road. Private suite is located in a beautiful home on a scenic farm in eastern Kentucky surrounded by green pastures and forested hills. Includes a private full bath with shower/tub combo. Common areas include a half bath, laundry, and workout room. Our home is located near attractions such as Cave Run Lake, Natural Bridge State Resort Park, and Red River Gorge. We are just minutes from the local shops and restaurants of downtown West Liberty. In the past, we have hosted long-term stays for traveling nurses and tradesmen.

NEW IN 2025 - THE PICKLE BARN @ FRANKLIN FARM

Our Pickle Barn is a heated and cooled indoor facility built specifically for pickleball. The pickleball court is regulation size and coated for pickleball. We have two on-site PPR Certified Coaches available for lessons. The facility includes a bathroom, hang out area with a sectional sofa, dining table, bar, refrigerator, WiFi and smart TV. The court can be rented separately through the Swimply website by searching West Liberty, Kentucky and selecting the pickleball category.

This was my first time using VRBO and was a great experience. The room was large and comfortable. I must've seen 20 deer and a whole flock of turkeys on my way out each morning. If you're looking for a place w scenery and relaxation.....this is the place.

Great long term stay option

Jody and Darby were very friendly and welcoming! I was here for a month and would absolutely recommend it for someone staying in the area. I would recommend a car with either AWD or a high clearance. I would also recommend bringing an instapot, air fryer, or hot pot if you plan on cooking food here

Stellar!!

Justin and I were looking for somewhere in the hills of Kentucky that was secluded yet within a short drive of many attractions and we found it! We slept great and enjoyed the quietness and stillness of the property—exactly what we were looking for. We needed to escape the city and enjoy the cool nights and being able to see the stars. Many great small towns and good hikes within driving distance of this property. We had everything we needed and the house was very clean. The outside we found to be very relaxing. Those foggy Mountain View’s while sipping coffee in the morning we will miss! Inside was very comfortable and spacious—loved having access to coffee and snacks right out of bed. Shoutout to the welcoming committee (Mayor, Armani, and Milky). These cats were very cuddly and friendly. We have no complaints! The hosts were phenomenal and it was great to meet them! Would book a stay here again 100%.

Felt like home!

Beautiful country view! Nice space! Best of all the hosts! Darby and Jody made us feel like family. We talked with them for a couple of hours. They invited us to dinner and I got one of her yummy pumpkin muffins! I’ve already got my weekend planned for next year! Thanks again for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

Country getaway

My husband wanted a weekend away from the hustle and bustle. We happened across this little gem. It was close to Red River Gorge, Gorge Underground, Cave Run Lake. The hosts met us as we arrived and made sure we had what we needed. Super nice family. They have the friendliest cats. Clean. Cute and Charming.
