The hotel is a classic older home made into a hotel. This gives you a great feel for The past you cant get from a hotel chain. It has been upgraded to modern equipment, bath, etc. a great feel to stay here

Description of location misleading.

The position of the hotel is not on the lake. It is two blocks back. Breakfast is as basic as possible and whilst rooms are nice hotel is really a very good guesthouse.

We stayed in a property where Igor Stravinsky lived. WOW! The breakfast was fantastic and we ate one dinner in the restaurant. Can't say enough good about this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice stay but no AC

Overall, the hotel is very beautiful with friendly staff. However there is no AC and it was really hot in the room. The breakfast was tasty and was served on the nice balcony.

A gem of a hotel in beautiful surroundings.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The building itself was a traditional Swiss house with beautiful grounds and a lovely outdoor eating area for dinner and breakfast. It’s close to the lake and the town centre but not so close to be noisy. Excellent parking and access.

Beautiful old manor which was nicely updated. Easy walk from the train station, even with a suitcase. Staff were very accomodating of our timing needs for early check-in and early breakfast. Short walk to the lake and town center.

Great hotel in lovely lakeside town

This was just a stop over on way from Geneva to Lucerne/Lugano. Unexpectedly great hotel and beautiful town with stunning lakeside views. Nice restaurant & ambiance. I suppose the two busy roads surrounding hotel could be negative but really did not detract from this really nice boutique hotel.
