This hotel was such a welcome respite after my travels. The grounds are expansive, lush, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. The pool is gorgeous, and one of the highlights of my stay was seeing Mount Kilimanjaro from the porch of my room in the afternoon. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the people. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to help. Their hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel has a large restaurant with an extensive menu, as well as several comfortable spaces where I could enjoy a coffee, relax with a book, catch up on some work, or simply unwind. I only wish I could have stayed longer. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay with outstanding service, I highly recommend this hotel.

I cannot say enough good things about Ameg Lodge. In particular, the service from all the staff (whether it be the restaurant, front desk, spa or the gate) was some of the best I’ve ever received. They are kind, attentive, and go above and beyond to make your stay is incredible and personalized. I returned to Ameg three times in between arrival, a safari, and hiking Mt Kilimanjaro - the team ensured the transitions between each were seamless. They were also willing to assist with transportation into Moshi, packed lunches - you name it! The rooms and facilities are gorgeous. The restaurant was also able to assist with my dietary restrictions. Thank you again to the whole team for contributing to such a great trip. You will not be disappointed with your time at Ameg!
