Room mix up during registration. Was initially given a two bedroom/bathroom suite that I did not reserve. Then was moved to a handicapped room with handicapped shower that wet the floor, making it dangerous for us to walk on when utilizing the bathroom sink while one of us was showering. No bathroom countertops due to wheel chair accessibility, making it difficult for two women to apply facial care and makeup. Should have received the correct room since my reservation was booked well in advance to our stay.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was for us! From check-in to check-out and everything in between, we found it to be a great experience. We had the flexibility to extend our stay, and we certainly didn't hesitate with our choice of staying here another night. The change was quickly made for us. I have stayed at this property several times before it was great at first, then it declined, and now it is back to being great. Even better than before. We like this property because it is close to Sahara Sam's Oasis Waterpark and the waffles are yummy. It also provides A 2BR suite with a king sized bed which is ideal for my family.

I stayed at Staybridge for two nights just to relax and decompress. While the staff was very friendly and breakfast had a nice variety of options, a few things made it hard to fully enjoy our stay. Our main plan was to enjoy the pool and watch some good movies, but the TV and remote made that nearly impossible. The TV service was through DirecTV, which was extremely frustrating—some channels had no signal, and the guide only showed channel numbers and network names, not what was actually playing. The “info” button didn’t work at all, so we couldn’t even find out what we were watching. The remote was also in poor condition—very slow to respond, and the buttons were so faded that I could barely read them. My eyesight isn’t what it used to be, so this was especially frustrating. On top of that, we had trouble getting the room temperature comfortable. The air conditioner seemed to only have two settings—either too cold or too warm. This was meant to be a quick reset for us, and while we appreciated the friendly staff and breakfast, the poor TV setup and uncomfortable room temperature really took away from the relaxing experience we were hoping for. The place was a bit run down and looked like it could use a bit of freshening up but thats not want was important to me. The fact that we could not enjoy a movie was very frustrating, it was meant as reset mini vacation. I was very disappointed. The rooms are not cheap and I expect everything to be working properly and it was not.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Our room was not cleaned our entire stay. The carpet in the main area of our suite was dirty, sticky stuff on the floor. The bed in the coach was partially broken and not comfortable for my children to sleep in. We couldn’t hook up the tv in the living room to our kids gaming station as the remote didn’t work properly. The stairwell carpet was old and stained and smelled horribly bc of overflowing trash.
