The check-in instructions were a lot more complicated on the website than they actually were in person. Everyone was very nice, especially the manager Ed. We chatted for a while a couple of times over my stay, telling me about the history of the area, things to do etc. I would stay again!

The room was ok but the bathroom had a rotten floor with floating linoleum, rotten crumbling baseboards, the toilet literally wobbled from side to side ( I thought it was going to fall over), and the shower drain didn’t drain. There was 4” of water that wouldn’t drain for hours. Room #1 basically should not be rented because of the bathroom. So…NO! Just NO!!

Step back in time

the room was reasonably sized, andcomfortable and part of a small motor court. Easy freeway access, though there are no amenties nearby. The family staff is friendly. This was my second visit and was quiet with an out in the woods feeling.

We just wanted a safe clean place on a budget for a long 1800 mile drive. The fridge is large. The molding, baseboards, etc are old and the TV is the tiniest TV I've ever seen just a couple inches from the AC so it's hard to hear. But, at the end of the day, we got what we wanted!

I would say facilities were wrongly reported and pictures were disproportionate. By husband is a big man 6”2 and built, he had hard time getting in shower. The table ma and chairs were too small, ac too noisy, and sleep on the bed was like see saw!

The Lodge is in a great location close to the various lake access spots. The room could use some upgrades and TLC, but would definitely stay there again based on the location and amenities.
