Great location close to all the sites. Amazing staff and great customer service. I was especially impressed when I left my expensive headphones in the room and when I came back 2 days later they were in the lost and found. It really says a lot about the kind of staff here.

A cute hotel with free drinks (beers, Coke Zero, water) you can consume that is refilled daily with your stay. The hotel is also walkable from the main touristy spots in Munich and the area is very safe even when walking at night time.

Loved the convenience of being location just off the Viktualienmarkt, easy walking to everything. I was pleased to be located off the quiet courtyard rather than the street and I enjoyed my welcome drink on the lovely 6th floor terrace. Very comfortable bed, plush towels, ample breakfast buffet. Initially we weren’t sure about the hotel because we tend to like modern rooms but the staff were welcoming and very kind and the energy of the hotel is very positive. We stayed in the suite, the charm of the traditional wood style furniture and wonderful oversized tub really won us over. The neighborhood is walking distance to everything and has some really great dining options right at your front door. Would definitely recommend this place ~

Awesome staff!! Great location, good food if you choose to dine at the hotel. The drinks in the hotel room fridge are free and they replenish each day!! We had a small balcony which was so nice for evening time. Housekeepers did an amazing job. Would definitely stay there again. Customer service was a 5 star!

A family of 3 stayed in the Deutches Eiche for 10 days in August. More than enough room in their standard room. Fantastic location if you want to walk everywhere. Right down from the markets and lovely boutique shopping right on the street. Not to mention the best gelato right next door. Incredible drinks on the roof top terrace which was a bonus to have. Staff was amazing, food incredible, can’t recommend it enough!

Very pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic stay! Room is HUGE with an ensuite fit for a king. Has a soaker tub, a large shower and mood lighting. Lots of towels and robes were provided which was a nice surprise. A complimentary bar fridge with beer/coke zero/water which is refilled each day was also unexpected. If this wasn’t our first time in Munich I would’ve spent a lot more time in our room. A balcony if you want to get some fresh air is accessible too. Staff were friendly and helpful. The area is safe and close to main food areas and attractions. The only negatives are parking is a bit further away although you get a discount on the daily rate as a customer of the hotel, and there a half a flight of stairs from the elevator to the even numbered floors which can be difficult if you have large baggage to drag around. Love the hotel and would return here in a heartbeat.

Excellent stay (as have stayed here multiple times in the past), but I would recommend making sure to get a room on the main building, as opposed to across the street—where I stayed this visit. Overall nicer rooms in the main building, in my opinion, and more convenient as well. But definitely like this hotel and will stay again for sure.
