Summer holiday rental, private villa from 700 century.
La Palazzina is a farmhouse in Tuscany with a beautiful swimming pool. The apartments for rent date back to the XVIIth century and have been lovingly restored. La Palazzina is immersed in the Tuscan countryside just 18 km South of Siena.
Our proposal is a dreamy vacation in our small corner of paradise, to enjoy at full the peace and quiet of the Tuscan countryside.
We will be pleased to host you at any time throughout the year, in a 18th Century Manor house that has been converted into eight self-contained apartments.


Note on the tourist tax: The Municipality of Murlo applies a tourist tax of X,XX € per person per night up to a maximum of X nights. Children under 12 and other categories provided for by the municipal regulations are exempt. If you are exempt, please notify us before your arrival, so that we can apply the discount due."

The following are also exempt from paying the tax:
a) all those registered in the registry of residents of the Municipality of Murlo;
b) minors up to the age of 12;
c) those who assist patients in health facilities located in the provincial territory in the amount of
one companion per patient;
d) bus drivers and tourist guides who provide assistance to organizational
groups; the exemption applies to each bus driver and one companion
for every 25 participants;
e) members of the Police Force, Fire Brigade, Armed Forces, Civil Protection who stay overnight during events of particular importance for which
they are called to intervene in our territory for service needs;
f) non-self-sufficient disabled people (with appropriate medical certification) plus one
companion;
g) those who are in stay overnight following measures adopted by public

authorities to deal with emergency situations following calamitous and extraordinary events
or for humanitarian relief purposes;
h) those staying in facilities in the municipal territory for work reasons;
i) those staying overnight in facilities in the municipal territory for study reasons.

Rather dark appartment at the first floor. Outdated and rather poor equipment.Owner enthousiastic friendly. Nice pool and teriffic view.

Lovely property, wonderful host

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of our honeymoon trip to Italy. The apartment was spacious and clean, and had everything we needed for making breakfasts and light dinners. Lovely location with pool, and beautifully tended grounds bursting with flowering plants. Eloise was very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Highly recommend her dinner the night you arrive. There are not too many restaurants nearby. We would definitely return here!

We spent one week at Lapalazzina. It was very romantic, quiet place . Room, swimming pool and corridors were very clean. Owners of the hotel were everytime smiled and ready for help the guests. Good place for chill out and visit Toscania.

Charming Villa in the Tuscan Countryside

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tuscany in this beautiful villa. Eloise and Alex truly made our experience in this stunning location special. Eloise was so helpful in answering our questions and giving suggestions about places to visit in the area. One of our best memories of La Palazzina was sitting next to the pool and eating a delicious meal prepared by Eloise, including wild boar and farm fresh vegetables from the garden! We also ate delicious breakfasts prepared by our hosts each morning. What a treat it was for us to stay in an historic property that has been so lovingly cared for! Our room was clean and absolutely charming! We will definitely recommend this property to family and friends, and hope to return someday in the not too distant future. Quiet and relaxing stay in the Tuscan hillside

We had a fantastic stay at La Palazzina, Eloise made us feel very welcome and you can tell that she wants you to have a fantastic stay, which is nice. You must sample Eloise's home made wine, it is delicious. Our apartment was comfortable, clean and tidy, with all the basic amenities required to make simple meals. The pool area and views are lovely, the only small comment is it would be nice if all the sun loungers had cushions, as after a while they were a bit hard. You must have a car when staying at La Palazzina, as even the nearest town is about a 10-15 minute drive up and down the Tuscan hills, the location is great for exploring the local towns and wine country. There is a large Co-op supermarket for supplies in nearby Monteroni D'arbia. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxed stay in the Tuscan hills then La Palazzina would be ideal, we certainly enjoyed our 9 nights here and would recommend it to others!

Perfect for a relaxing break

We stayed at La Palazzina for just over a week and really enjoyed it. The pool is fantastic and the location is beautiful, perfect for trips to Siena and other towns and villages in Tuscany. The accommodation was very nice - just remember to bring the basics with you, including salt & pepper, oil, washing-up liquid, etc. Eloise provided a fantastic meal for all the guests on our second night, which was really special. The whole place is beautifully kept and makes for a lovely, relaxing holiday.
