Om Shanti - Murphys Vacation Rentals

This home recently was renovation by its new owners. Both bathrooms are totally new and the wood floors have been refinished. It is cheerfully decorated in bright, lively colors, and has fun accents throughout. There are many options for enjoying the outdoors: relax on the shaded side porch overlooking the lawn, soak in the sun on the large front deck, or dine in the back garden/patio area off the den.

The public tennis courts are right across the street (rackets and balls provided by the owners) and it is a five minute walk to town.

The house was clean, had everything we needed and was in an amazing location. Within walking distance to the cute downtown of Murphy's. Free tennis court to use too! Great yard for kids and pets to play. My family and I loved our stay!

The best things about the house was the location - it was close to down town - very walkable, and it was very clean. The beds were good too. However, the view out of the front windows was of the pge work yard. A few things need repair - a kitchen cupboard door is broken...if you advertise tennis rackets, they need to be usable (with grips) and newer than 1990. Shampoo and conditioner, make up wipes were insufficint. There wasn't an electric plug in the master bathroom that would stretch from the cord on the hair dryer to the mirror; The stove igniters need to be cleaned and the microwave wouldnt unlock (to get the food out) unless you unplugged it.

Mini Vacation

Great house with plenty of room. Anna greeted us and was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this house but would ask them to guarantee that the TV was in working order. Since we didn't visit to watch TV it didn't mean much to us, but if you require a TV make sure it works.

Fall getaway

We really enjoyed this property. It was spacious yet cozy. The location was great - easy walk to town. We all loved having our coffee in the front room and watching the world go by out the huge picture windows. It was the perfect setting for our friend group to relax, listen to music, sip amazing wine and have fun. We would love to come back and stay in the future.

Great Family Vacation

Stayed at Om Shanti with my husband, daughter and parents for Thanksgiving. The house had every amenity and was very spacious. Everyone felt at home and we had a great time. The proximity to tennis courts and short walk to town are a real plus. Thank you for a great stay.

Enjoyed this funky/chic cabin. Easy to check in and out 2 decks and patio. Neighbor played loud music, Thank God it was music we loved. Soft rock.

Girls getaway

The location is walkable to downtown Murphy’s. Driving to the location we still had no check in info. Had to contact rental company. Our problem with the rental was the furniture. There isn’t a couch or anywhere to chill and talk, watch tv and get comfortable. All individual arm chairs. The kitchen chairs not comfortable at all. Just not a cozy place to chill. The bathroom in the main bedroom has no counter space to put anything to get ready. (There’s plenty of room for this) There are plenty of heaters. It is clean and has room for all, just needs some comforts updated to accomadate.

Great house full of character.

Short walk to Main St Murphy’s. Nice outside patios. The only drawback, was minimal window coverings, so did not feel very private at night. Would rent again.

Perfect Getaway

This house was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, there was plenty of space for everyone. The yard is cute and we enjoyed spending time hanging around outside. A quick walk into town made this location spot on! Also, the house was comfortable and sparkling clean!
