Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Discover your private retreat at the north end of Lanier, a newly built waterfront lake house with its own dock. Quiet, scenic and full of wildlife, the location is 15 minutes from Dahlonega and close to wineries, golf courses and hiking trails. You can bring or rent a boat and tie up at the dock, launch a kayak for a golden-hour paddle, or cast a line from the shore for a memorable fishing day. Relax, explore, and make memories at our hidden gem.
The master bedroom is located upstairs and features a king mattress, private en-suite bathroom, and a workspace. On the ground floor, there is a queen bedroom and a bunk bedroom that share a full bathroom. The bunk bedroom features three sleeping spaces: a full-size mattress on the bottom bunk, a twin-size mattress on the top bunk, and an additional twin pull-out bed underneath. Both ground floor bedrooms are easily accessible, with no steps required to enter or exit the home.
Lake Lanier’s water level varies based on the season. It is a reservoir behind Buford Dam on the Chattahoochee River, built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the 1950’s, and its level moves through the year by design. During spring and summer months, we typically have 6 feet of depth around our dock. Lanier usually runs lowest in the fall, after months of heat, evaporation, and downstream releases. Winter and spring rain refill the reservoir, and the Corps works the lake back toward summer pool ahead of May.
