No groups under 25 years of age. We live nearby and will greet you upon your arrival and will try to make you feel you're 'at home' for your rental time.

Our houses are only 50-75 steps to the beach.

You will love SuzBeachHouse and our wonderful complex. Our houses have a direct ocean view of the famous Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach. This listing is for #918, Ocean Lakes complex. (We have both #918 and #919 in the Holiday Inn section of Ocean Lakes) Thrse are lovely beach houses with DIRECT OCEAN ACCESS AND VIEWS. We have FREE WI FI in our houses. Decorated in vibrant Caribbean colors, this privately owned beach house is completely furnished with everything to make your vacation the best ever. Our house has a fully furnished kitchen, tvs in every area, with extended cable, bar height table/chairs on deck for wonderful ocean view from deck, outside shower, grill, and washer/dryer and everything needed for a perfect vacation.

We have two houses, built on the same plan, and located side by side - great for reunions and vacations with extended family. These are #918 and #919, in the Holiday Inn section of Ocean Lakes, this is the section closest to the beach.

FREE wireless internet access. We are situated in the family oriented resort complex of Ocean Lakes, with a 10 MPH speed limit and patrolling security guards. Located only 50 steps from the beach, it's easy to make drink and potty trips. Parking under the house for three vehicles. Pets NOT allowed, NO SMOKING inside house (deck only).

Additional fee: Parking - Our complex charges $12-$15./day/vehicle for parking, which will be paid directly to them. After booking is confirmed, you may contact the Ocean Lakes office, 843-238-5636, to obtain passes prior to arrival. Passes obtained within 14 days of arrival will be charged $15./day/vehicle.

Located in a privately owned community, this house is only 50 steps from beach where umbrellas and chairs are available for rent and patrolled by lifeguards for safety in spring and summer. We are located only 15 minutes from airport and downtown Myrtle Beach and pavilion area and 20 minutes from Broadway at the Beach.

With our guarded entrance, 24-house security, and enforced 10MPH speed limit, you can feel comfortable to 'let the children go'. We have many on-ground facilities, including ocean side basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoes, bocce ball, bean bag, lakes (fishing) and carpet golf, as well as several playgrounds, making this ideal for all ages. We have an Olympic-size swimming pool, indoor pool, water park, snack shops, grocery store, nature center, oceanfront inflatable water slide, skate board area under the oceanfront observation deck and recreation center with planned activities. Also, provided at no extra charge, a wonderful, mile-long, private beach for use by our complex!

Additional charges -
Linen package may be provided for $175., which includes sheets for all beds, bath/hand towels, wash cloths and kitchen towels, no beach towels. Or you may choose to provide your own linens.

Golf carts: we have golf carts that we can rent with our houses. Rates vary by season. GOLF CART RULES: DMV rules apply to golf carts in Ocean Lakes. Drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid drivers license. 10 mph speed limit, no driving with open container.

Parking fee: $12-15../day/vehicle, which is paid directly to Ocean Lakes.

REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
$500. refundable damage deposit during summer season. Refundable deposit is returned by VRBO within 14 days of your departure, in no violations/damage.

DISCLOSURES:
House sleeps a maximum of 12.

Hurricane policy: If there is a mandatory evacuation, a prorated refund will be given for days in effect.

Renter is responsible for any fines assessed by Ocean Lakes to that guest or anyone in their group or visitors to this house.

Lost Keys will result in $75. fee from deposit.

Our family had such a great time. She met us at the house shortly after we got there. House was just as described. Great location. Really close to the beach. Close enough both Memaw and Nana walked to the ocean. Ocean view from the spacious deck. We hope to stay again

The location in proximity to the beach and what I consider to be extras like crock-pots and blenders and plates and cups, were all fantastic. The property owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. My only negative comment about this property is one of the bedrooms is actually not a bedroom, even though it photographs as one on the listing. My family and I were able to make it work. So it wasn't a very big deal for us.All in all, it was a very nice stay.

Perfect house right by the ocean

We absolutely loved staying in Suzanne's house in Ocean Lakes. Our travel plans changed and Suzanne was quick to get us in the house early. The house is cute and perfect for your family. The house is equipped with everything you need. Suzanne has amazing art work that she has done around the house. The ocean was just steps away from the house. Everything in Myrtle Beach was close and easy to get to. We definately will rent with Suzanne again!

Great Location

We very much enjoyed our stay, house was very clean and had an awesome deck with ocean views. The only negative was that the mattress that I slept on was of poor quality which left me with neck and back aches, after the first night I switched to a twin bed at the landing on the upper floor.

Halloween end at Ocean Lakes

I wanted to bring my nieces, nephews, and great nephews for the Ocean Lakes experience and it did not disappoint. Golf cart rides, trick or treating, and a calendar full of events. Our host Suzanne greeted us all and was very easy to contact. She’s nearby for any needs or questions. We had quite a few people and the house fit our family perfectly.

We love Ocean Lakes. This house was a few steps to the beach which was amazing. Made going back and forth easy! The house was spacious and fun! Suzanne and her husband met us at the house at check in and were very kind.

Suzannes Beach House

The location of this property was great for our family. 4th house from the beach made for super easy beach access and a great ocean view from the deck. Having the ability to rent golf carts from the property owner and available on the property was so easy and convenient. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. Suzanne checked in on us via text message during our stay and was a lovely host.

Fantastic vacation with family!

The house was perfect for our family! There was plenty of room for 5 children and 5 adults. The house was well stocked with all the kitchen accessories required for preparing meals. Beach items for the children were available. We brought our own but it was nice to have others available. I would definitely return. We were steps from the beach and the area was well kept.

Overall this was a great property! In line with the listing, good accommodations. Suzanne was communicative and helpful! Otherwise, missing some kitchen basics like scissors. Definitely endorse getting linens, or if you bring your own make sure to bring kitchen towels too. Had not been familiar with Ocean Lakes before, and despite the house & Suzanne being lovely, I wouldn’t stay at an Ocean Lakes property again. Between parking, atmosphere, closeness of properties, difficulty with navigation, number of people, and intensity of the employees, it was a bit of a stressful experience.

The house and location were perfect for our family location. The hosts were quick to respond with flashlights repairs/replacement when the power went out and the washer stopped working. I recommend staying at this location and with this owner.
