We loved the view from our room. The calming view or the ocean and the spectacular view of the city especially at nights. We loved the bed too, very cozy and our studio was well equipped and spacious

I liked my room and all the amenities. I will definitely come back later this year.

Myrtle Beach International (MYR) is the region’s only major international airport, but it offers a convenience and versatility rarely found in other vacation destinations. MYR serves commercial and private aircraft, and is located just three miles from Myrtle Beach’s central business district. This unrivaled location means ground transportation from Myrtle Beach International is plentiful and includes taxis, car rental services, ride-sharing applications, and Coastal Regional Transportation (CoastRTA), a publicly-funded bus system ferrying passengers to seven Grand Strand locations. Even in the worst of traffic, getting from MYR to any major Myrtle Beach destination shouldn’t take more than 15-20 minutes!
Myrtle Beach locals rely on motor vehicles as their primary transportation method—and with nearly 60 miles of uninterrupted shoreline as their backdrop, who can blame them? Many hotels and resorts provide complimentary shuttles to and from Myrtle Beach International Airport, but if you plan on leaving the resort often—particularly for golf or shopping—consider renting a car. However, if you anticipate staying mostly at your hotel with the occasional night out here or shopping spree there, ridesharing applications are incredibly accessible and affordable throughout Myrtle Beach.
Rather than a specific place, the “Grand Strand” is the moniker locals and visitors alike affectionately bestow the stretch of beach noted for its fun-loving resorts, shopping, restaurants, and water-based activities. Whether you want to work on your short game, eat delicious, fresh-caught seafood, try your hand at parasailing, or simply lounge in a beach cabana overlooking the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean, make sure your Myrtle Beach vacation starts and ends with time well spent on the Grand Strand!
If the Grand Strand is the quintessential celebration of outdoor coastal living, then Broadway at the Beach celebrates everything uniquely Myrtle Beach about the town’s entertainment and nightlife scenes. With outdoor piazzas connecting boutique shopping, upscale dining, and countless music and nightlife venues, Broadway at the Beach is the perfect going-out spot after rinsing all that daytime sand off your feet!
For a quaint, classically Southern experience, little beats a morning or afternoon spent lounging at the Second Avenue Pier. Located just 10 blocks from Main Street Myrtle Beach, the Second Avenue Pier offers a relaxing oasis replete with restaurants featuring phenomenal Southern fare (shrimp and grits or biscuits and gravy, anyone?). It’s also home to fishing areas to lure your own catch of the day, and plenty of dock space to relax, unwind, and ponder life’s great mysteries!
Nothing else epitomizes Myrtle Beach better than pairing an aquarium with the funky and unpredictable twists that come with any Ripley’s institution. Featuring glass-bottomed boat rides and underwater glidepaths, Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach is not your grandma’s aquarium! Throw in the opportunity to touch hermit crabs, stingrays, jellyfish, and many other sea creatures that call South Carolina home, and Ripley’s Aquarium is a Myrtle Beach must-see, whether you believe it or not!
Fans of outlet shopping, this is your mecca. The Tanger Outlets—Myrtle Beach’s undisputed upscale shopping center—feature an impressive brand variety encompassing Under Armour, Vineyard Vines, Lululemon, TaylorMade Golf, Michael Kors, Tommy Bahama, and plenty more across its 80 outlets. With amazing deals throughout the calendar, the Tanger Outlets offers irresistible value and choice when it comes to treating your loved ones—or yourself!
If you like seafood and Southern fare, Myrtle Beach will endlessly delight you. If you're looking for a crash course in South Carolina seafood, look no further than Bimini's Oyster Bar and Seafood Cafe, which offers fantastic shrimp and grits, seared Ahi tuna, and varieties of delicious shellfish you didn't even know existed. If you're celebrating a special event, try Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse
(your classic all-you-can-eat carved meat treat!), Thoroughbreds Chophouse, or Waterscapes at the Marina Inn—all perfect spots for anniversaries or family gatherings. No matter where your culinary tastes lie, though, make sure you don't leave South Carolina without trying a local favorite—pulled pork barbecue! Classic South Carolina barbecue is always served with a mustard-based sauce, and two of the best joints in town are Pop Pop's Pit BBQ and Simply Southern Smokehouse.
