I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. The accommodations did not meet the expectations established by the online photographs, which appeared to have been significantly enhanced. My room overlooked a rather unappealing view consisting of a dirt hill, fenced area, and a pool that was, unfortunately, unusable due to its unclean condition – the water was green and cloudy. Furthermore, the noise level proved disruptive. Guests at a picnic table adjacent to my room disturbed my sleep at 10:30 pm necessitating my intervention at 12:00 AM to request their relocation. They don’t have house keeping unless you ask. I hope you will address these issues to ensure future guests have a more positive experience.

Good

Location is PERFECT. The beach, boardwalk, skyline, and so many stores are within walking distance. The rooms are decently clean. The shower curtain could definitely be replaced, though. Shower is nice and hot but the water pressure isnt the best. We did have a problem with the floors making our feet black but the staff was amazing and promptly fixed the issue. Note to add: if you’re under 26 you have to pay a $100 deposit. The website I booked our room on didn’t mention that. Great price & good rooms.

If you book this hotel understand that it is a budget motel as the price reflects. It seemed that there are permanent boarders lodging at this location. If your requirement is for a 2 or 3 star accommodation, then this will suit.

Budget motel with good value for money

Budget hotel with value for money. No implicit room service but they said they will do it if asked. Change of towels was done. The stay was overall good. Value for money in terms of locality, proximity to attractions and other safety factors.

I want to be careful in reviewing this property. I understand it is a much older building and is family owned, therefore standards and procedures may not necessarily be stringent. The location of the property is great- perfect walking distance to the center area where most the Ocean Blvd attractions and eateries are. The staff was polite and caring. The in-room facilities is where my stay fell short. The dust in the room was caked on- to the curtains, window seals, tv, lamps, and nightstand... as though it had many months, or even years since dusting. Dead flies were on the window seal. Hair strands and sand particles left on the walls and in the floor of the shower. And the toilet was not functioning- due to a leak out the back of the tank. I did address the toilet issue with the front desk on the first, but yet the problem persisted. A more detailed inspection of the rooms should be done before renting out to patrons. The property has tons of great potential that quickly declines due to the lack of cleanliness detail.

It was okay

It was okay really sketchy. When My husband me and my son got there there was crumbs on the bed. Refund took forever pretty much had to beg and plead with them. But one lady was really sweet and understanding. Can’t remember her name to save my life.

Parking area was small. My buddy that traveled with us got his car hit in the parking lot. Awesome person actually left their info. Thank you for being honest. The tv wouldn’t turn on. Front desk gave me new batteries for the remote. It cut on but no channel worked. Didn’t spend much time in the room, so staff wasn’t able to fix this issue. Also the WiFi, you could connect to it, but no internet service. Staff said we may need to power off our phones and then power them back on for it to work. Even tried with a laptop. No luck. Then the somewhat updated room had seen better days. On one site, this hotel advertised ocean front. One site said ocean view. When I got there, you can see the ocean from the room. But it wasn’t ocean front. Same as the beds, one site said two queen beds. One said two double beds. My room had two double beds.

This place was DISGUSTING! Not only was it absolutely disgusting and dirty, we had to wait a while to even be able to check in bc no one was at the property. Once we checked out they changed us for a hole in the wall that was there. Called us liars and hung up on us multiple times. Whatever you do, ignore any good review you read and DO NOT stay there! You’d be better off popping a tent on skid row!
