"This is such a gorgeous hotel - super friendly staff, massive rooms with stunning views over the pool, sea and islands, and great food. Food and drink is on the pricey side (compared to elsewhere in Indonesia, even touristy places in Bali) but the service was impeccable - particularly from Heri at the pool bar who was always smiling and made our day! The hotel is almost perfect - the only thing missing were recycling bins and filtered tap water, meaning that plastic water bottles were provided and binned daily. We wish we could have stayed longer."

"TA’AKTANA is a more than just a hotel, it’s a rich sensory experience with stunning design features in every nook and cranny, every wall, floor and ceiling, and in the furniture choices - an interior designers dream! The resort is still very new so there is construction going on but I was notified ahead of my trip so it wasn’t really an issue. Being so new the staff and service isn’t quite seamless yet but the friendliness and attentiveness made up for any minor inconveniences. Highly recommend the overwater villas if you can make it work with your budget, it’s very much worth it! "
