I like that this property is in the ❤️ of downtown, straw Mkt, Fish Fry, etc. My view allowed me to view the ships coming and going. The staff is friendly and room service is completely ok when we chose no service. The only downside was the 1/4 layer of dust on the bathroom sconces 😳 and not electrical outlets work in the room, #681. Is stay again !!

I liked that you had to have your room key to enter floors on the elevator.

Large traditional hotel property. Pleasant pool/beach area, with beautiful clear water. Pleasant staff. Hotel restaurant menu was good.

When I was in college this used to be the Best Westen The rooms were very muggy and had a strange smell.

Good Day Cat, Thank you for the feedback as it was truly appreciated. Since the time of the property being a Best Western, we have endured some improvements under the Hilton Brand which is the plan to continue. Regards,

The rooms are very small. The beds are soooo bad. My husband and I barely slept. They were old and soft and you roll to the center. The location is not good either. Yes, it is in downtown. Downtown is extremely run down and dirty. Very few decent places to eat. Saw a couple of large rats just around the corner from the hotel in front of a couple of restaurants. The beach is small, but nice. The pool is just ok. I also was not happy with them charging "resort fees" at the end of our stay. We went to the Baha Mar one day and would stay there if we went again. The only really good thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff is extremely nice and professional. Room was made up in a timely manner. Would not stay here again.

Hotel on the beach

The outside of this hotel is BEAUTIFUL. There is a private beach where you can canoe and relax. If it were not for the view I would not go back. Upon arrival, we got to our room and the toilet and phone was broken. We physically went down to the lobby to tell the front desk of this. After waiting for an hour and being assured that someone would be right up to fix the toilet, we had to go back down because no one ever came. The staff is not quick to resolve issues. There was a roach outside our room. Any time we needed anything (towels for example) we always had to ask twice.

I am covered in bed bugs , I didnt recieve the room I paid for. I has to call everyday for room service ( towels , sheets ) etc. I was charged fees that the hotel did not mention to me. Ive stayed at plenty of Hilton hotels and never had such a horrible experience.
