This spacious custom lakefront home has all the room and amenities to accommodate one or two families very comfortably. The main level of the house has an open concept with a living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room and two bedrooms. There’s a grilling porch off the kitchen with a Weber gas grill. The level also has a comfortably furnished covered porch overlooking the lake with beautiful lake and mountain views; you’ll really enjoy having a morning coffee an afternoon nap or an evening cocktail while looking at the beautiful views this porch provides. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, walk in closet and private bathroom. The bathroom has a double vanity, a jetted whirlpool tub and an over-sized enclosed steam shower. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and attached full bathroom.

The lower level of the house has a second living area, a wet bar, a ping-pong room and 2 more bedrooms. The lower level also has a covered patio facing the lake. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other is set up for kids with a full/twin bunkbed and a trundle bed. There are also two full baths on the lower level.

Down at the lake the private dock can accommodate multiple boats and has a swim platform and ladder. There’s also a small deck down by the lake with chairs and tables for your lounging. So bring your boat, PWCs, canoes, kayaks (owner has 2 kayaks for your use), or rent a boat from one of the nearby marinas and tie them up to the dock after a fun day on the lake.

Lake James with over 150 miles of shoreline is one of the most beautiful lakes you'll ever visit. Bordered by the Pisgah National Forest and Lake James State Park along its northern shores providing pristine and unspoiled vistas.

Hike in the Pisgah Forest, or to any of the numerous nearby waterfalls or along the Appalachian Trail, white water rafting, take a ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway, or enjoy a round of golf, There are a ton of fun things to do during your stay. In the fall the turning colors will take your breath away and in winter there are a number of nearby snow ski mountains that will entertain boarders and skiers alike.

Asheville is a short drive away with many attractions such as the Biltmore Estate, one of 'America's Castles'. Also enjoy Asheville's eclectic downtown with great shopping and dining and a nightlife that includes live music at the nationally acclaimed Orange Peel and other concert venues.. Asheville is also known for its awesome art galleries and fine dining and let’s not forget the BBQ!

Black Mountain is nearby and affords many things to do. Take a walk through historic downtown and discover numerous unique gift shops, galleries, and Appalachian-style craft stores, with local craftsmen often demonstrating iron works, dulcimer making, and throwing pottery. From the most upscale cuisine, to country cooking and BBQ, the area is home to over forty restaurants sure to please any palate.
