THE SPACE

Sleeping for 6:
• The Private Alpine Suite: This main floor, fully enclosed bedroom features a queen bed + small sleeper sofa. Full bath just outside. TV, desk, luggage racks.
• The Woodland Loft: This open loft bedroom features one queen adjustable bed with massage and incline features. Private ensuite bath. TV, luggage racks. Upstairs bedroom, overlooks the living room — beautiful, but no door.
• The Mountain Den: This bonus flex room features a twin bed and with trundle, best for kids or younger guests. Cozy, sloped-ceiling mountain feel. TV with streaming + DVD player and selection of DVDs.
• The Fireside Lounge: Our living room features a queen sleeper sofa.

• One important thing to know before booking: The Woodland Loft bedroom is an open loft — it overlooks the living room beautifully, but has no door and limited privacy. The Private Alpine Suite on the main floor is a fully enclosed private room. This layout is ideal for families; less ideal for two couples wanting complete separation.


The Fireside Lounge is the heart of the unit — this living room features cathedral ceilings soaring up to The Woodland Loft, a beautiful wood-burning fireplace, a queen sleeper sofa, and a loft overlook that makes the space feel twice as large. Free firewood is stocked at the unit entrance.

Fully equipped kitchen: Keurig (pods + carafe option), air fryer, slow cooker, blender, rice cooker, dishwasher, fridge with ice maker. In-unit washer and dryer adjacent to the kitchen. Boot and glove dryer in the laundry area — game changer for multi-day ski trips!

Ski locker with coded lock at the front door. During ski season the locker will be empty to store all your equipment. During other seasons you will find folding lawn chairs for you to enjoy!

Private balcony off the kitchen: two rocking chairs, seasonal mountain and wooded views. Top floor means unobstructed treetop views and total quiet.

GUEST ACCESS

You have the entire top-floor unit to yourself — no shared interior spaces. Note: 8 steps down from the entrance to the condo level.

Free parking for 2 vehicles in unassigned Laurelwood spaces. Two parking passes provided in the unit.

Laurelwood heated community pool available Memorial Day through Labor Day — short walk from the unit. Laurelwood is the only community in Wintergreen with its own community pool!

Wintergreen Resort access: ski slopes, hiking trails, Discovery Ridge Adventure Center, tubing, The Market, The Edge, Copper Mine, and Upper Crust restaurants are all walkable. Note: certain Resort amenities, such as the aquatic center, are reserved for Resort-managed lodging guests.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Laurelwood is one of the most walkable communities at Wintergreen Resort:
• 5-min walk to ski slopes, ticketing, and Treehouse ski school. Closest slopes are green runs which connect to all other slopes — not ski-in/ski-out, but genuinely close with no driving needed.
• 3-min walk to Mountain Market (coffee, breakfast sandwiches, pizza, groceries, wine)
• 5-min walk to The Edge, Copper Mine, and Upper Crust restaurants and bar
• Short walk to the heated community swimming pool
• Easy access to hiking trailheads, Discovery Ridge Adventure Center, tubing, and year-round resort events

Off the mountain, Nelson County's Route 151 corridor is 10–15 minutes away: Devils Backbone Brewery, Bold Rock Hard Cider, Veritas Vineyard, and a full string of breweries, cideries, and wineries. Perfect for a fall afternoon or evening out even when you're not skiing.

Charlottesville and UVA are about 45 minutes for day trips. Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive are under an hour.

• Dogs welcome — up to 2 dogs, $50 pet fee per stay. Two dog bowls provided. Please keep pets off furniture.
• Top floor unit — no neighbors above you, no footsteps overhead.
• Gigabit (1 Gbps) WiFi throughout — ideal for streaming or remote work.
• Smart TVs in all bedrooms, living room, and flex bonus room.
• Towels, linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion provided. Hairdryers in both bathrooms.
