Walking Distance to Ski Slopes! Cozy Condo that sleeps 4!

A wonderful weekend escape no matter the time of year. Condo has been completely renovated in the heart of Wintergreen Resort. Fully equipped condo for guests to come and enjoy the slopes. Within walking distance to the ski lift and all the amenities that the area has to offer. We are the only condo complex that also has it's own pool for condo owners and guests only.

**the pool is for the condo complex and is shared with the other units and is available from Memorial Day to Labor day weekends.

The space
The space has everything you need for a weekend getaway. Sheets and towels are always provided for our guests. The kitchen is fully stocked and firewood is delivered to each building. The sofa in the living room pulls out to a queen bed incase you need another bed. Several streaming services are available on both the tv in the living room and the tv in the bedroom.

There is great wi-fi connectivity if you are looking to travel and still needing to get some work done.

Guest access
Please be advised that while we are located IN the Wintergreen resort, guests pay for extra amenities the resort offers such as ski lift passes, lake passes, and anything located within the resort grounds.

The market is located across the parking lot and up the stairs, about a two minute walk, if yoIu need any last minute items, looking for something to eat from the deli, or needing some last minute beverages.

Devils Backbone Base Camp (our favorite), Bold Rock, Blue Mountain, several other breweries, and several wineries are located within a 30 minute drive.

Fire and Frost, breakfast and pizza, is a 3 minute drive farther up the mountain.

I stayed here while exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive on my bike. It was a great home base and I made use of the hiking trails on the property on my days off the bike. The amenities were exactly as described and I really enjoyed the area. I would come back for more exploring!

Labor Day weekend

Upsides: The condo is close to the pool and the market. Lots of parking and an easy walk to multiple restaurants and family activities. The owner quickly responded to a request for an updated pool access code. Downside: We had to use the pull out sofa for my son. There were mouse droppings on the mattress. The sheets for the pull out sofa were still in the dryer, so I had to hunt them down after using Clorox wipes on the mattress. The TV in the bedroom does not seem to work-though we gave up within 10 minutes or so. The exhaust fan in the bathroom seems to be broken; I didn’t leave it on too loud since the noise was deafening. Every step the upstairs residents that ok you could hear. I’m sure they were walking normally but it sounded like they were about to call through the ceiling.

Wintergreen area

This condo was neat and tidy, we did have issues with the tv we could not get the volume to go down only one loud! We could not get it resolved with the owner. I would recommend that the exhaust fan in the bathroom be replaced it sounded like a jet engine running making it unusable. Also the electrical power went out at 2:30 am and wasn’t back on when we left at 7:30am. I would recommend bringing a flashlight.

Weekend for two

Simple, but had everything we needed for a little weekend away. Didn’t realize this was a lower unit with a condo above, which could get quiet loud since there were guests staying there. Otherwise, we appreciated the location, access to free firewood, and the outdoor seating area.

Momcation

Went away for the weekend to the area with a friend. Nice area and great communication with the property manager. Wi-Fi didn’t work while we were there but PM worked with us to try to resolve issue. Not a big deal - made for a quiet/peaceful weekend.
