1035 Villa el Crucero

This large and charming villa in Nerja with a private pool and a jacuzzi with capacity for 10 guests, is located within a 10,000 square meters plot with fruit trees. This is a very unique property due to its size and accessibility options.



The spacious villa has a traditional charm and occupies a large plot in a quiet, rural location. Guests staying here can enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, the sea and the Sierra de Almijara mountains in the distance. It is possible to walk to the Playazo beach only 1 Km away (foot access only).



Accessibility:

Arrival to Villa El Crucero is via its large electric gates, giving access to a private parking area with enough space for 3 cars. all the property zones (except the apartment) are accesible via a ramp ideal for wheel chair users or infirm guests. This ramp surrounds the property and reaches up to the pool and BBQ areas. Inside the main building there is a small internal ramp from the dining room/kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

Outside:

The pool outside is h salt-water for a much better quality swim than standard chlorine pools. The large pool measures 10 meters x 4.8 meters with a depth of 1 meter at the shallow end and 1.9 meters at the deep end. There is also a jacuzzi (heated pool) / kids pool that can be heated to about 24 degrees in cold months. The outside area offers plenty of space including a bread oven, BBQ, seating area, toilet with shower and several sun beds.



Inside:

The property is divided in the main building with 4 bedrooms, 2 complete bathrooms, toilet, kitchen, dining room and living room. There is a separate apartment under the terrace area with the fifth bedroom (2 single beds), a bathroom with shower and a small tea-point area.



Air conditioning in 2 rooms (master double bedroom in the main house and also in the apartment), Internet (Wi-Fi), safe, hair dryer, TV with satellite channels.



In the kitchen the facilities include refrigerator, microwave, oven, freezer, dishwasher, dishes/cutlery, kitchen utensils, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and juicer.



The property has one toilet in the living room area and four bathrooms, one with bath and wc and three with shower cubicle and wc (one of them near the pool)



Villa el Crucero is located 72 km from Malaga airport, 112 km from Granada airport, 3.5 km from Nerja bus station, 1.6 km from El Playazo beach with bars and restaurants, 1.6 km from Lidl supermarket, 3.5 km from the famous Balcon de Europa, 4 km from the Rio Chillar river with interesting treks along its course, 8 km from the famous Nerja caves, 6.5 km from the pretty hillside village of Frigiliana, 25 km from Aquavelis water park, 28 km from Baviera Golf course, 100 km from the world famous Alhambra Palace in Granada, 80 km from Tivoli world amusement park/theme park in Benalmadena,



The villa's peaceful location makes it a very popular choice for both families with children and couples too.



A car is definitely recommended for visitors to the villa for getting around.



As the property is in a large area with fruit trees, we have a gardener that might come to water the trees. The gardener will rarely need access to the property grounds but if that is required, he will contact the guests for permission.

very well laid out property for all ages, annex perfect for separation of grandparents, couple of issues we had with annex was totally plagued with fruit flies 1000s, no kitchen item kettle etc, pools were perfect, as was all the grounds and views, would certainly go back

Great family villa

Stayed here with 2 family groups including teens and primary age. They all loved it, beach is 4 mins drive and mountains 10 mins. Very accessible and fantastic outside space. Pepe and the agents were super helpful and welcoming.

Lovely spacious viila in beautiful surroundings and great location

We had a lovely stay here. Villa is very spacious with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is fabulous with great views from all angles. The bus stop to Nerja is only a 10/15 minute walk but the actual walk to Nerja is very do able by beach or road. The villa offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and we wouldnt hesitate to come back again.

Great relaxing location

In my opinion, the highlights of this villa were 1) the pool - it is big and mostly deep so you can do some proper swimming, with a shallower jacuzzi pool next to it. 2) the location - it's a bit a twisty road to get there but there is little traffic, however the advantage of that is that you have no neighbours overlooking you, it's quiet and in the middle of an avocado orchard - so relaxing!

Fantastic pool and villa

We loved the large pool and plentiful sun beds. We also appreciated all the extras - table tennis table with plenty of bats and balls, beach umbrella . The variety of outside seating areas is a real bonus. We enjoyed being just outside Nerja and loved the quiet and the hill views but it was easy to get into town and we visited 5 different beaches all within 20 minutes drive. The property company and owner are extremely responsive and helpful.

We had the most wonderful stay!!

Our stay at Villa el Crucero was just magnificent. Even though the property is a little bit hidden, the Agency made sure to send us the location and the best way how to get there. The property was just wonderful and as in the picture. There was everything you needed in the house. It was also great that the house is very close to the city. With the car you just need 5 Minutes. I would absolutely recommend the place and would love to go back in the future.

Beautiful Villa

Beautiful, homely feel, huge outdoor space, fantastic pools and outdoor facilities, laundry and shower room by the pool were great. Very clean, fantastic communication from Maribel. We also had lovely avocados given to us from Pepe from the garden! Thank you! More storage in the kitchen would have been good as we like to cook so had to move things around to store food. Not a big issue though, we managed.

Family friendly, peaceful and very relaxing

Beautiful setting, lovely pool and what a relaxing experience in the hot tub. The house spacious and very welcoming. Because it was early in spring, evenings were cool and we asked to use the indoor fireplace and we spend many happy family moments in front of it. The bbq area provides for everything with the most amazing views over the Avocado trees towards the sea. Lidl was a 5min drive away and if you feel like walking around 35min at a relaxing slow pace. Looking for the beach you will find that also at a 5min drive away or again around a 30min stroll, with a lovely beach. Nerja Town itself a lovely setting to stroll around and there is plenty of things to see and places to eat or drink a cocktail. Nerja Town also less than 10min drive away. Nerja caves a must see and you can easily spend 3 hours there listening to a self guided tour. On your way out stop at

Hidden gem in Nerja

Spacious villa that accommodates up to 10 people. Myself and my family stayed here for a week over new years. I could not get over the size of the villa and the grounds. Large swimming pool and heated Jacuzzi outside. BBQ and pizza oven outside also. In the mornings it was nice to walk around the grounds and see the many fruit trees growing there. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to townthe beach. The staff were incredibly helpful and set us up with a local taxi driver, Francisco, who I highly recommend. Many thanks for a wonderful time Spainsunrentals and we hope to be back again soon. We stayed during new years so although the daytime was nice and warm, it could get a little chilly in the evenings. There is a huge fireplace that can be lit in the living room which makes the place very cozy but maybe a few extra radiators would be of added benefit.

Lovely stay in spacious villa

We had a wonderful stay in this villa, plenty of space for our party of 5 children and 4 adults. We particularly enjoyed the space outside the villa (it is situated in the middle of an avocado farm) with loads of (enclosed) space for the children to explore, fruit trees (the lovely owner brought us some and gave us lots of helpful information), a large pool and brilliant smaller heated pool with jets which was perfect for the children (especially in late October when the main pool was a little chilly unless doing serious swimming), plus bbq and outdoor pizza oven which made for some great outdoor dining. The villa has a lovely Spanish feel to it, and had everything we needed. Some of the beds were a little firm (but that may be personal preference, and is fairly common in Spain) and the villa is quite a walk into Nerja (we did it a few times and it took around 50 minutes to get to the old town) so you definitely do need a car, but we knew that in advance. We would definitely recommend and thought it was great value for all the space. Mattresses on the double beds were quite uncomfortable (very hard) - but that may be personal preference!

What an incredible place!! We were blown away by just how spacious and comfortable this villa was. The beds were all clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped the BBQ and pizza oven were great. The pool was fabulous and the fact you could use it 24/7 made the holiday the jacuzzi was a real hit. It was a 15 min walk to either the supermarkets or the beach. We loved the fact their were toilets in many areas left f the beach so you could go for the day or walk into town without worrying about if you needed the loo. The sea is lovely and calm and great to swim in. The minibus arranged for us was on time and very organized the driver was lovely. The wifi was good but only in the kitchen area it would have been nice if it worked in the annex or pool area but it didn't cause a problem. Our only other suggestion would be an oven in the annex as one oven for 10 people wasn't enough and a kettle / cooking set there too. Also the oven needs more than 1 baking tray but these are very small issues and on the whole the villa was amazing. Be aware if you don't have a car you have to carry your rubbish/recycling down to the hotel facilities on the main road id do little and often whenever you go to the beach. We loved the avocado farm behind its incredible the amount of fruit they are growing it would have been lovely to see this in season. The views from the villa are stunning as well.

Superbe propriété entourée d’arbres fruitiers de toutes sortes. Calme absolu. Très bien placée, aussi proche de la mer, du centre animé (bar-restaurant) et des terres. Très simple à l’intérieur de la maison mais fonctionnel. Cuisine extérieure avec grill et four à pizza, de quoi se faire plaisir. Grande piscine non chauffée. Seconde piscine-jacuzzi chauffée. Très simple à l’intérieur de la maison mais fonctionnel. Cuisine extérieure avec grill et four à pizza, de quoi se faire plaisir. Grande piscine non chauffée. Seconde piscine-jacuzzi chauffée. Propriétaire très gentil et disponible. On se réjouit d’y retourner !
