We stay on the Oregon coast 1-2 times a year & always look for a new place we love. The most important thing to us is location & a balcony with a great view. If I were to give stars for this it would be 5. We want it to feel inviting & fairly clean. We don't need a lot. This particular unit needs more attention to these details. You could tell it had been cleaned, but it was musty. I think the blankets needed washing, also the extras in the closest.The kitchen is well appointed, but had only 3 teaspoons & 15 dinner knives & 2 ceramic coffee cups. The couch has ripped upholstery. I found an old shredded bath mat was under the sink. There are no handles in the tub showers, although there are some old slip mats available. I think there are some better options in this building for next time & I do hope that someone will take some time to care for this unit & make it as nice as some of the others. I realize it is hard to keep good cleaners from afar and also,being by the sea can make it difficult to keep up on things, but I could really feel that this places is not getting the care it deserves & I hope that it will. We will definitely return to this area & another unit in the building rented by this company, as I do recognize that this company has some nicer ones. Maybe it was just acquired & will eventually be fixed up a bit. Since the location was so lovely we were able to over look a lot of these things for only 2 nights & spend a lot of time on the balcony & the beach.
