Located in a quiet neighborhood approx. one mile away from Chetek’s Main St. and the Chetek chain of lakes. Home is fully furnished and sleeps up to 15 people. Full kitchen with all the amenities. Dish network is included, however no WiFi. The property includes central air and heating, a three season room, finished deck with patio furniture and a propane barbecue. The master bathroom includes a jet whirlpool. Plenty of parking for RVs, boats, etc.

Review of home in New Auburn, WI

This was the perfect house for my family. My mom has to use a walker, so entering and exiting home was very easy for her. She and my stepdad loved the bedroom on the main level right near a bathroom. There were enough beds and bathrooms to accommodate my family. Beautiful countryside. Friendly host. Highly recommend this home.

Making Memories

We had been to this location a few years ago, and we liked it so much we wanted to go back. It was only a couple of miles to the nearest boat launch, and a couple of miles from Chetek. The house was just the right size for our family. There was 8 adults and 5 children all under the age of 4. A lot of playing and rough housing was done by the children and they loved it. We spent a lot of our mornings in the sunroom, the kids loved it because of all the windows (I would suggest that the inside of windows be cleaned lots of bugs were found by kids) We enjoyed the outside area because it was fenced in, so we didn't have to worry about the kinds wandering off. It was a great space for them to run and wind down before bedtime. We would certainly come back to this house as our children grow up. Some of the small things that I thought need to be tended to to make the house much safer. Some of the kitchen chairs were very wobbly and the spindles were loose. The the layboy chair in the living room needs to be removed because it doesn't work, was very had for our parents to get out of. The thresholds at the bottom of both the garage doors need to be fixed, not only did the children trip over them but so did the adults. The last thing I remembered from the last time we stayed was the bees by the side door of the garage, I know they are hard to get rid of, we used lots of wasp spray. Owners were awesome to work with, came to the house within minutes to fix things

Bachelorette party fun!

This place a was simply amazing. Felt so cozy and not close to shops but not too far either. All the ladies loved the decor of the place. The property manager was super nice and was great with communication.!! He even suggested some things that were awesome!! Definitely would rent again!

The number of bedrooms worked out great with the number of people we had. The distance to the party was short. Our gps showed the wrong location of the house but I was able to call the owner and he helped us out. I think it would be a great place in the summer. With snow on the ground limited the use of the outside of the property.We would use it again if we came up there again.

A great choice for the Chetek area

The home suited my family's needs very well. It's very comfortable and well equipped. The location is convenient to the Six Lakes area. I gave the owner some feedback about a few minor repairs needed. I would definitely stay here again

Homey and comfortable

We came up for my daughter's wedding and stayed in this comfortable home. Although, it didn't have internet, we enjoyed being "unplugged" and was able to visit with one another. The house had a queen size bad with en suite bathroom upstairs along with a bedroom with a double size bunk bed and twin. On the main floor was the main living area with a king size master that had a door to the main floor bathroom. It was a perfect set up for my aging parents. Down in the basement, was another bedroom with 2 full size beds and a bathroom by the laundry facilities. Erik was wonderful do deal with and very understanding when we stayed an extra day. Overall, I would stay at this house again. The huge yard would be perfect for an outside wedding. And actually, if we would have known how perfect, we would have had my daughter's wedding there instead. But all in hindsight... Thank you for a wonderful experience of Chetek. It was very nice and quiet area. The pictures that were online really do show what it looks like. Very clean, well kept, and a home away from home. Can sleep a lot of people and plenty of bathrooms!
