A spacious beach getaway in the heart of down town New Buffalo and a short walk to beach. Start the day with the view from the rooftop deck before hitting the private Dunescape pool!

Just over an hour from Chicago whether by car or train - the train station is just steps from Beach Retreat.

Newly Constructed townhome in the heart of New Buffalo offers three levels of living space with a rooftop terrace, numerous decks, and a screened in area. With three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and ample living space this home is great for entertaining. With an onsite swimming pool this is perfect for families or a small group of friends looking to escape for a weekend and enjoy all Harbor Country has to offer.

The rooftop affords breathtaking views of the lake and downtown. The all seasons room has just been redone and is the perfect spot to relax. This property offers something for everyone of all ages & is not to be missed!

The living room is equipped with a ROKU smart HDTV and opens up to the 3 seasons room. Bedroom 3 also has a ROKU smart HDTV with ample programming.

Each bedroom has outdoor deck in addition to the rooftoop deck & the master has a jacuzzi tub. Enjoy the chef's kitchen and brand new outdoor Weber grill with the bounty of local and organic ingredients that SW Michigan has to offer.

Close by you also have FourWinds Casino, various wineries, Journeyman Distillery, Greenbush Brewery, Bentwood Tavern & The Terrace Room - ideal for a foodie getaway. Michigan City (just 15 minutes away), you can visit the Blue Chip Casino, Zoo, and the Lighthouse Place Premium outlet Mall with over 120 outlet stores just waiting for you. For those Notre Dame fans, New Buffalo is a convenient base for attending the game.

We had the best time in New Buffalo! The house was the perfect location for us to visit Chicago and Notre Dame, but also walk to town for local restaurants. We loved the pool and the beach and everything was perfect. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

A delightful place, it had everything we needed and more. The rooftop terrace was beautiful. A quiet spot and yet just a block from a full grocery store, Starbucks, brewery, etc etc.

Perfect family getaway

This was a wonderful home for our family’s weekend lake trip! The home was as clean, attractive, and comfortable as the listing promised, and we loved being so close to the beach and the charming New Buffalo shops and restaurants. June 2025 Visit

We stayed on the hottest days of June but were comfortable due to the AC! The four decks of the unit could have been used more had the weather permitted but we were thrilled to have those outdoor options as well as a pool just a half block away! We'd like to stay again sometime!

Bright and beachy, great pool & outdoor space, perfect location to beach, shops, food.

We had a great experience renting this property in New Buffalo for our summer vacation and will definitely rent again. Great location, plenty of space. Kids loved the pool and spa and can walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Perfect for family of 5. Property management and hosts were great to work with. Highly recommend.

Walked everywhere. All restaurants were great (service and food). Golf courses close! Only complaint was steps...but we survived (grandparent complaint). Mark was great to work with! Looking to fo back next year..shorter drive and cooler temps than FL or SC

Great location

We had a great time and would definitely stay again. The property is in a great location with most places within a block or two. Having pool access is also a great addition. The property is stocked with lots of extra supplies like kitchen tools, pillows, sheets, and towels. There are a lot of stairs which may or may not be an issue depending on who you are traveling with.

Girlfriend Reunion

The condo was a perfect place to gather for a childhood friend reunion. We truly enjoyed the screen porch, the rooftop patio, and the location. The pool was a short block walk away, and was really nice as well. The owner was quick to respond when we had an issue with the garage and handled it promptly. The property manager also found an item we left behind and reached out immediately and was very kind to return it! Very happy with our stay and the accommodations.

Fantastic stay!

Truly wonderful stay in this beautiful and well maintained home. Gorgeous sunsets from the rooftop deck, a wonderful grill for family barbecues, access to a lovely pool and hot tub, and all of this is in a great location. The house itself is spacious and just as photographed, with comfy beds and lots of room for hanging out and lounging. The owner and property manager are super responsive too. One of the best VRBO properties we have stayed at. Next summer, we are booking a longer stay! Loved everything about this home.

Great place in new buffalo

The townhouse is in a fantastic location, close to Main Street, stores, restaurants, walking distance to beach. It’s nice for a family, our kiddos got so spread out, we did some cooking, went to the pool. We had bikes etc. biked to beach in like 1-2 mins. Grocery store right around content. the house is cozy, well equipped with games, all kitchen things etc. we really could could just relax and feel like we are in our own place. We wound definitely come back. Owner was very responsive. Thanks!

Great location

Besides a couple of hiccups, our stay was great! The garage door broke and the A/C went out, but we believe that neither of those things could've been controlled by the management. It's hard to know when something is going to go out and we understand that. The house is just as vertical as it looks. So, it's not fit for those who have bad knees, elderly, etc. My husband's grandma (85) came over to visit and was able to make it to the roof top but it was not easy for her. The place is beautiful. Very spacious. Lots of levels so it doesn't seem like everyone is crammed and a lot of decks including a roof top deck and a screened in/covered patio. Walking distance to Beach is about 10 minutes and a very nice walk. As far as restaurants, shopping, etc everything is literally a block away. Very nice stay.

Family fun in New Buffalo

What a wonderful week!!! The property is perfect - clean and equipped with everything we could ever need. Check-in was very easy and all communications with the owner were quick and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and rooftop deck every day. Location can't be beat - so close to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, nail salon, spa, shops - everything!!! Loved our stay here and we will be back :)

Great location and well appointed condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable furniture, nice linens, great location and an awesome pool. I would highly recommend this property. There are lots of stairs but we’ll worth it. There is even a wonderful rooftop too.

Spacious and great location

The home was very nice, clean and had plenty of room. We enjoyed sunset views from the rooftop. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. The home had extra beach equipment, which came in handy! I needed help with address/location and property manager was very helpful. We enjoyed the pool and appreciated that the home is kiddy corner from a grocery store. We loved our stay and will absolutely be returning! Thanks for sharing your place.
