Nestled in the heart of New Buffalo, this modest two-bedroom home offers a quiet retreat. Steps from Whittaker St`s boutiques and eateries, and the marina and beach just a gentle stroll away. It`s a space of simple comforts: a queen bed, cozy bunk beds, and a convenient sofa bed. The fenced yard, with its patio, bar, fire pit and grill, is perfect for relaxed gatherings. The thoughtfully updated garage game room provides an added touch of leisure.
Guests have full access to the entire home.
There is a queen size bed in the main bedroom, along with a full closet, bedside tables and a dresser.
The second bedroom features a full over full bunk bed with a pull out twin sized trundle bed underneath. We provide pillows, sheets and blankets for all of the beds.
The living room also has a great sofa that turn into a full size bed. Also a love seat that pulls out to a twin size bed. The living room is a smart tv so you can access any of your streaming apps. Donât have Netflix? No problem we have an account set up at the house that you are more than welcome to use. So cozy up on the couch, put on a movie. (the fireplace does not work)
The kitchen is also equipped with refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, and a Keurig! Outside you will find a large deck with a table with seating for four, 4 Adirondack chairs around the backyard firepit, and a large propane grill. The detached garage has been made into a bar and game room that opens up to the backyard. Perfect for get togethers. The room features a ping pong table, a bar countertop with 8 total stools, a 50â smart tv, and ice chest with a drain so need need to empty, and several games.

New Buffalo has strict rules for short term rentals. So we have placed on camera on the front of the house that overlooks the front door and driveway. This way we can make sure we have the correct number of guest, the limit of 4 vehicles, and that there are not any parties taking place. But this is also an added safety for you as our guest. Thank you for understanding.
Guests have full access to the entire house , except the utility closet for safety reasons. The garage game room is open and you will receive a code to access the garage on the day of your arrival.
ABSOLUTELY NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 WITHOUT AN ADULT PRESENT THE ENTIRE TIME. NO EXCEPTIONS.
We are available through the app, email, or by phone during normal waking hours. We try to give guests their space and let them feel as if they are at home. We will only come to the house if need be or a guest needs our attention.
There is plenty of parking at the house. The main strip is within a 5 minute walk. 10-15 minute walk to the Stray Dog and beach. You can also go to the Grand Marina and rent bikes for just a couple bucks a day! A free shuttle bus to Four Winds Casino also makes pick ups at the Grand Marina!

Here are a few of our favorite local restaurants nearby. There are well within walking distance, which is nice because parking can be somewhat difficult, especially in the summer months.
Rios Mexican Grill- fantastic drive through and walk up taco stand with outdoor seating available. This is one of our favorites, highly recommend the Shell-less burrito with spicy pork and avocado. You can order ahead of time online at riosmexicangrill.com. They are located 3 blocks west and one block north on the corner of Eagle St. and W Buffalo Street (Route 12). Five minute walk or less than a minute drive
Jackieâs Cafe- Cheerful, independent eatery offering elevated American breakfast and brunch eats and a seasonal patio. Great place to walk to for breakfast and is located just one block east of Rio`s on the corner of S. Chicago Street and W. Buffalo Street (Route 12) Three minute walk.
David`s Delicatessen & Coffee- Located in the middle of downtown on the West side of Whittaker street. Known for their rueben sandwiches but also have a great constantly varying menu based on what ingredients are available from local farmers. Great place for a quick, delicious, and healthy breakfast. Organic options available. Wonderful selection of coffees and teas as well as made fresh daily pastries. Really cool atmosphere with wonderful seating inside and out. Bentwood Tavern- Waterfront dining on the New Buffalo Harbor. Artisan hand crafted cuisine crafted by local icon, Chef Jenny Drilon. We love this place. Perfect place to get dinner or start an evening out with cocktails on the rooftop bar overlooking the harbor! Located on the corner of W. Water street and N. Berrien St. inside of the Grand Marina resort. You can also rent bikes here! Fifteen minute walk or a two minute drive
Oinkâs- Ice Cream Parlor and Frozen Yogurt Parlor with tons of flavors. Cash only. If you like ice cream, you like this place. Located just two blocks West and one block North on the corner of S. Smith Street and W. Buffalo Street (Route 12). Five minute walk or less than one minute drive.
The Stray Dog Bar & Grill- Bright spot with wood tables & booths. Offers New American fare & wide beer list, plus rooftop patio and bar. Another one of our favorites. Located in the heart of downtown and near the beach. Perfect place for dinner and drinks. Would give a meal recommendation but honestly everything is great. Full bar, games on tv, lively atmosphere but also family friendly. They also have a gift shop with great souvenirs. Its a must while in town. Located on N. Caseyâs New Buffalo- Steak, seafood & Italian fare in a 200- year old structure with an art deco bar & patio seating. All around great food, drinks, and atmosphere.Twelve minute walk or three minute drive.
Redamakâs- Cash only burger joint serves house ground beef patties and other diner fair in an iconic space. Only open from March to October. Fifteen minute walk or three minute drive.

Local Attractions
New Buffalo Beach & Boat Ramp- local public beach. About a twenty minute walk. Itâs only a few minute drive, however there is a parking fee to park at the beach. You can also walk to Marina Grand Resort a few minutes walk away and rent bicycles.
Whittaker St: Main strip of downtown New Buffalo. The place to go for all kinds of great shops and restaurants. Eight minute walk.
Wineries:
Black Dragon Meadery @ Promeny is right around the corner, a two minute walk.
Round Barn is less than a ten minute drive straight down highway 12.
St. Julian Winery and distillery is also about ten minutes drive down highway 12.
Brewery and Bars:
Beer Church Brewing Co. has good locally brewed beers and a woodfire pizza oven. Five minute walk or less than a minute drive.
Bentwood Tavern has waterfront dining and a nice bar. About a Ten to fifteen minute walk.
