I want to start by saying the staff was great—super helpful, friendly, always cleaning. The hotel itself is fine, but my main issue was the noise the guests. I stayed there for work (in the city), so I didn’t spend much time at the hotel, just needed a place to sleep then leave for the day. The area is kind of gritty (near the projects), next to industrial plants, so there’s constant noise. More than once I woke up to guests screaming at each other early in the morning or late at night, and the walls are so thin that it felt like I was in the room with them. I asked for a quiet room since I’d be staying for an extended time, (it wasn't). My room was essentially a conjoined one, & had a door separating the one next to me (idk who the people next to me were) but the walls felt like they were super thin and the guest had no sense of an inside voice. One night, the guests next door were so loud that I could hear everything they said, like to the point I was practically I the room with them. I didn't want to be a Karen, but I called the front desk to complain anonymously for the sake of my sanity, and the guests next door started yelling about it, threatening to "beat" whoever made the complaint. I could hear it all from inside my room, which was crazy. For New York, the hotel is budget-friendly, but be warned it’s very noisy. You have to ask for your room be cleaned. I don't understand how it's 4 stars bc the lack of amenities. Overall OK, noise made it less than ideal for me.

Staff seems very clueless on how to run a hotel. Not sure why we had to request our room be cleaned if they weren’t going to clean it anyway. I asked the man at the front desk to speak to the manager and he said he doesn’t know when the manager will be available. When the cleaning staff did show up they woke us up at 9 am and said they cannot come back at a later time. Very unprofessionally run establishment. The closest subway is a 10 min walk outside of the projects. Be careful.

This hotel is a close walk to the subway station and has several food options. This hotel is around a power plant and feel rough in the area. We had room with two double beds. The double bed is quite small and is very intimate if you share with someone. The washroom door is a slider door and there is a bit of a gap so potentially, you can peep through. This is the main thing that bothered me. Other than that, the front desk has been helpful, they kept our luggage after checkout. Theres also a washroom near the front desk that's accessible with your hotel key. its quite spacious and have toilet liners. Theres also a dining area so that you can eat takeout to just chit chat and chill. there's citrus water as well as some tea and coffee. for breakfast there's some pastry. But don't expect too much.

Please beware before you book!! This place is next to the projects and it’s ghetto!! Day one people where fighting throughout the hotel and staff did nothing about it , there was a leak in my room and the leak continued until I checked out in the staff did nothing about it. It completely flooded the restroom and it reached to the carpet area of the room. Staffed cared less. It was really unhygienic. I hated everything about it. The smell of the sheets and blankets smelled like it came from the same vendors who wash the sheets from a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Every night people were fighting and it was extremely difficult to sleep. The hotel has potential to be nice but unfortunately the location doesn’t help. I don’t recommend this hotel. The stress and anxiety isn’t worth it. The hotel room is extremely cold and the heater doesn’t work. Tv doesn’t work. The free breakfast is extremely old bread don’t bother to eat it lol … it’s ghetto and unsafe not worth putting yourself in risk.
