The property's locatioewto NJ / . Traffic was a problem (expected in NY). The only concern we had, was the room was small and lacked a big closet.

The property was newly renovated and recently switched over to a new company. There's still a lot of construction going on around the hotel. There's nothing else around the hotel either as far as food or gas goes. The staff was great when we first got there and even called a few minutes after we checked in to make sure everything was okay. When we were leaving the second day to go out and sightsee, we had asked the maid to leave extra towels because there were four of us in one room. We said we still wanted the room cleaned also. When we got back, the room had not been touched. She didn't make the beds or clean the restroom. She did leave us extra towels though. I think there had been a miscommunication between us about cleaning the room. Other than that, the room was nice. If travelling from here to NYC, take the Staten Island Ferry. It's free and runs 24/7. Much better than driving there and having to find parking.

This property was recently renovated. Rooms are well done and roomy. Breakfast had a good variety. Good access to main highways and Newark airport. Staff helpful.

Advertised shuttle, shuttle out of service. Caused me extra money for transportation that I had not budgeted. Hotel should have rented a bus to accommodate customers. I wasn’t the only customer upset about shuttle. Hotel under remodel. Room nice, updated, comfortable bed. Overall clean.
