I booked at the Hotel because parking was allegedly available. When I got into the hotel for checking the parking lot was fool and I refused to park outside. Then I could not cancel on line. Waisted of money and efforts. I am dissapointed with Travelocity. This is not the first time. You are experts in fine print travel cancelation and selling policies.

JFK hotel

Property seems newer only because of being in a more residential area. Room, itself, was fine -nothing negative. Checkin was easy, compared to checking out. The hotel appears to be used by travelers associated with JFK airport. Staffing is low, with delays on the day I was there checking out. ***Caution: Vans to/from the airport go only to a tram. The signage can be confusing; allow no less than 1-hour from hotel to security. Once exiting security, additional time is needed for getting to the gate. Mine was a quick overnight and have no idea of nearby food.

If you have to be at the airport 2 hours prior to your flight, plan to be out of your room and waiting for the elevator 2 hour prior to leaving the hotel. Terrible !!! Just one elevator working and the others out of order.

weekend stay

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very accommodating. The only issue we had was there is no parking! We were not told you need to reserve parking and they charge extra. We were told we could park on the street? We were with my 85 year old mother who is not mobile. The parking staff were helpful in finding us a spot immediately....but ubered most of the trip due to concerns about not find a spot.

I liked the big room we got with 2 queen beds. Close to the airport and shuttle available. I didn't like the bathroom sink. The faucet was in the way. When brushing my teeth I almost spit on the faucet. The staff were great answering questions. I wish the convenience store by front desk had more alcohol selection or bar to stay open later. Or vending machine to buy water or juice instead of buying at front desk. I’m guessing most people are laying over one night so more available grab and go. Overall great place. Thank you

Just say no the Hampton Inn JFK

I stay at Hampton Inn Hotels often and this one at JFK was not up to standards. You couldn’t even get in the parking lot, so I parked across the street. My car was okay the next morning, but I didn’t want to leave that evening to go out for dinner, thinking there would be no place to park when I get back. So I purchased a coke at the hotel counter for $6.50 I don’t mind paying a little more for convenience but that’s ridiculous. Order a burger from the hotel restaurant that took 1 hour for $18 looked like a small Mc Donald’s hamburger. I love many other Hampton Inns but not this one at JFK. Sorry
