Probably won't stay here again. Kind of a seedy spot. The first room I got reeked of cigarette smoke and was not clean, but they switched me to a different room when I asked.

The front desk clerk physically and verbally assulted two departing guest then turned her rage on me. The staff joined in and video tapped for social media posting. I was called every name and had a physical assult, spit in my face by the staffer that was totally out of control. Not one person assisted me, not one staff member assisted , they participated and then mock myself and the two guests that were also assaulted . Hilton, Hampton, and Expedia offered no assistance . The on duty manger did not offer any assistance and to date not one person has contacted me. I don't know what set this desk clerk off with the first two victims but i do know that when the first two victims left the hotel, the clerk left her post and began assaulting the two in the entry area and then at their car. I made breakfast , then was preparing my coffee when she turned her rage on me.The staff members were assisting this clerk in her physical and verbal abuse of those guests and myself. I have seen the news stories about the wild , dangerous behaviors that are allowed and encouraged in NYC. I just didn't believe it until March 09, 2025. New Your is dirty and like a war zone! The Hampton Inn JFK is a dangerous, dirty war zone . Staff and management are the problem. I called 911, they hung up on me because I did not have the street name and number. The name of the hotel and location was not enough. It seems that NYC and Hampton JFK is truly a lost city and the inmates are running the asslyum!
