Cons: There was a bug on my washcloth, my sheets had a hole in them, and if I wanted wifi, I had to pay for it.
It was a bit disappointing at the hotel. I was constantly wondering if there would be other bugs.

Nicely remodeled

Love my stay at the Barclay. Nice clean room and excellent location. I would have given them five stars if it were not for the fact that they don't provide complementary bottles of water in the rooms. Who the hell does that?. I have stayed at really bad hotels in the past but they at least provided water.

Great location and Comfortable beds!

This hotel had a great location for getting to Times Square and many eating establishments. Also the lobby was beautiful and very helpful staff. The room was clean, large, and very nice. The bath was a little small but its an old building. Only con was the food prices are quite hefty to eat there. The breakfast buffet was $35 per person and $20 plus off the menu. Even a cup of coffee was $5.50.

Run down hotel with terrible service

Three of us stayed in two rooms at the Intercontinental Barclay for two nights in May, 2013. Regular check in is 3pm; our room was not ready at 4pm so they offered to put us into a different room. They first put us into a bedroom whose bathroom door did not close. Then they put us into a room facing the hotel's air conditioning system. By this time we were too exhausted to fight. The bed was the old-style kind that actually bounces when you sit on it and my back paid the price after two nights. The clerks at reception were rude. I would not recommend this hotel.
