Location was great. It would have been helpful to know the complex was under construction before we got there. For example, we were sent a map the day before so we could locate our villa - and the map included a pool. Also listed on the amenities list; the pool is not yet built. Not a huge deal. Beach was close and we enjoyed our stay very much. Also, no easy/clear way to communicate with staff. Our TV remote did not work. Not really any way to call anyone or any simple way to notify Reception. Again, not a deal breaker. Pet friendly villa was great. When I did speak with staff they were friendly and professional.

Moved to an off site apartment at very short notice away from the conference organizers I had booked with in Jesmond Executive Villas (Lux Jesmond Apartments - Unit 1). All windows locked and no key - no fresh air, no hot water in laundry, no iron, no globes in bedside lamps in any of the three bedrooms, no handle on shower screen door in en-suite, plugs missing from kitchen, en-suite and laundry sinks, pillows all very, very hard - had to buy suitable pillows to be able to sleep, oven fittings all rusted and glass dirty. Paint peeling in kitchen. Exhaust fan grille on bathroom on floor. Minimum kitchen utensils (eg. no egg slice). Property in urgent need of maintenance.

Booked at Jesmond Executive Villas, Upon check in was sent to apartments across the road that were definitely nothing liked the room we booked. Tiny room with stained carpets, tiny bed, no bedside tables, ripped couch and an exhaust fan grate that was falling from the roof in the bathroom. Did have a decent hot shower and large tv and small kitchenette in room with oven cooktop and microwave.

Interior was spotless and recently refurbished which was great Check in easy and use of keypad pin instead of physical keys was good. Lack of communication regarding the MAJOR roadworks and noise of drilling going on outside after 11am was pretty poor. Locals would obviously know about this, but nothing mentioned on website or during verbal booking confirmation call either.

The property was dirty, the bed linen was dirty, the bedding had a cockroach in it and there were cockroaches running around the apartment. The couch was worn and sunken in. There were people shouting in the hallway at night. When we contacted the property we were told that we couldn’t get a refund because we didn’t contact the after hours line. (that incurs a fee) it doesn’t state this and they have told me that it doesn’t have too. We left at midnight rather than staying there. Would never stay again. It was disgusting.

Car parking is appalling small and hard to get your car into. Someone was smoking weed on the top floor and the whole floor stunk of it. Apartment was ok, just old only good thing about it was the price. Would not stay here again

bed comfortable. hot shower. no hand towel or tea towel. squashed tissues throughout the room. freezer defrosted overnight. wet patches on carpet. leaking shower. powerboard in kitchen didn't work. microwave, kettle and toaster couldn't be used in the kitchen. rubbish bins not emptied. check in time was 3pm. told room wasn't ready. This is supposedly an executive villa. Warning. Do not stay here.

Highly recommend. Quiet, safe, everyone is very friendly. Staff are amazing especially the cleaning crew. Always going above and beyond and were more than happy to extend our stay at very affordable rates.will definitely be our go to when needing accommodation in the Newcastle region. And were very accommodating with our furbabies too which was very important for us as they travel with us everywhere!

Moved 4 Times within the first hour. First time room hadn’t been serviced from previous occupants, next broken furniture and then stained linen was put on our beds. Sofa bed was not made up nor linen supplied even though we requested. House keeping were terribly rude. Management sorted our issues when we complained but were not apologetic nor were we offered any sort of compensation for having to move and unpack our belongings 4 times.

Easy no fuss online check in! Fantastic short walk to shops with plenty of dinner options! Parking was fine. Property was great size with big outdoor area for 2 adults 3 children. Only 1 thing i would suggest is regular deep clean of the property. Its the little things that matter. Overall a great stay!

You could not pay me to stay here again. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else. One of the main reasons I chose this motel was because parking was included and my car would be outside my room. WRONG. They had me staying in a room over the road, no parking, incredibly difficult to get to and no pool etc there as advertised in the property description. I argued and got free parking there, but only 3 spots available. The apartment block required 2 different codes to get in, and you used them 3 seperate times (door to enter building, in the lift to operate lift, and at door to get in) to get in. Not cool.The room had no storage space, nowhere to hang clothes, nowhere to put your bag besides the floor, no bedside tables or lamps, no where to put clothes in the bathroom and no screen around the shower so water went everywhere, including wetting all the toilet. The tv was on the wall at the head of the bed so no laying in bed watching tv. No lamps at all and the lighting was incredibly bright. There were curtains but the balcony had very very bright automatic lights that could only be turned off by flipping the switch in the fuse box, which turned off all lighting in the apartment. Inside the room was like day light all night long. The staff did not give a toss and the gentleman who works there was very rude. Not as advertised and not very nice. The cleaning staff were the only nice thing about the place. It was clean, but no spare blankets or pillows.
