Mermaid's Muse - Includes GOLF CART! Close to beach & downtown Ocean Springs!

Approximately a mile from the water, Mermaid's Muse is a beautiful, three-bedroom property near the white sands and beautiful sunsets of Ocean Springs beaches, as well as just down the road from the heart of the historic downtown Ocean Springs shopping/restaurant district. 

This charming, newly renovated cottage has three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and includes the use of a deluxe electric street-legal golf cart!

Mermaid Muse is the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway, as well as week-long vacations with the family. 

Loaded with amenities, you will find a clean, artistically decorated space with all the conveniences of home.

Mermaid's Muse features a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances including an oven/stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and all the utensils you will need for preparing meals on days you rather stay in the comforts of home, rather than eating out at the numerous Ocean Springs hot-spots.

The living room provides a comfortable place to lounge in front of the large flat-screen SmartTV, and provides an extra place to sleep if needed with the pull-out Queen-size sofa bed. 

In the Master Bedroom, you will find a Sleep Number King bed and SmartTV, with a private bathroom.

There are two guest bedrooms with a full bathroom between them. The entire property is equipped with high-speed wireless Internet.

There is a front porch deck as well as a front balcony that provides outdoor seating to relax in the gulf breezes.

***Pets are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Please select that you will be bringing a pet when making the reservation, or we will need to send an additional payment request after booking***

***There should be no more than six people on the property unless prior permission is given. No events or parties are allowed of any kind. We have exterior security cameras for the safety of both guests and property outside of the home. There are no inside cameras.***

Ocean Springs is a golf cart-friendly town, and we provide a four-seat deluxe electric golf cart with built-in radio & Bluetooth speakers for our guests to use to go to the beach and downtown at no additional cost.

While at Mermaid's Muse you will feel completely at home and never need to leave the property to have a fantastic stay, but if you can tear yourself away, you'll find yourself just down the road from the heart of the quaint historic town of Ocean Springs. It has many great restaurants, museums, art galleries, sidewalk cafes, antique stores, and unique gift shops for you to enjoy.

Loved the Mermaid cabin. It is beautiful! We had a very relaxing stay. easy golf cart ride to the beach and downtown. If you can, highly recommend the Walter Anderson Museum with the audio tour. Sipping coffee in the morning on either of the decks. Also Easy to work We’ll be back!

The location is great! We just happened to stay when there was a big St Paddy’s celebration. Lots of fun, but when got back to our house, it was far enough away that it was quiet. Chris was easy to communicate with. We loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

We had the best time at Mermaid Muse. Our family of 4 loved the quaint and cozy style of the house. It was beautifully decorated and accommodating. The bedrooms and bed were so comfortable! We had the best nights of sleep there and when you are traveling - that’s important! The golf cart was a great and convenient feature for hitting the downtown and restaurants. The house was so close to everything - it was just perfect. The host was very attentive and provided great communication. We will definitely stay again in the future!!

Beautiful cottage. Clean and very functional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed using the golf cart much more than anticipated. The porch was nice, but was next to street traffic, and a Keurig coffeemaker was not available as indicated. But overall, an excellent place to stay. We would definitely recommend.

This house is a great place to stay -super close to downtown and a short golf cart ride to the beaches. The golf cart was a BIG bonus with the town having plenty of parking for the carts. I wouldn’t stay anywhere without a cart. The only draw back is house is on main road so you do hear some traffic at front of house but not enough to keep us from staying here again. Nice property!

Very nice location, easy to find and access, the golf cart was greatly appreciated. The décor has caused an existentialistic crisis with my wife, she now wants to redecorate our house like this one. I'm not sure if I can survive a whole house redecorating campaign. It's a great place to stay. We enjoyed our visit to Ocean Springs.

Cute place near everything in downtown Ocean Springs

We loved this place and the golf cart! Adorable cottage nestled in a safe area amongst other cottages. It was close to the beach and everything in the downtown area and the golf cart made it easy for us to get around with our 6 month old. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely and charming

Mermaid’s Muse is a beautifully decorated small cottage, two stories, just on the edge of a vibrant and interesting downtown area and just a few blocks from the beach and the harbor.We loved the photos, but when we drove up, I didn’t see how the space we saw in the ad would fit into the cottage I was seeing. But it does. Beautifully. The three bedrooms are comfortably appointed and large enough to accommodate a couple in each room. The master has a king bed, and the others have either a full or queen. The kitchen is up-to-date and includes everything you’d need to feel at home, including a corkscrew and serving pieces. The living space is cozy and great for hanging out. The upper and lower porches are quiet and pleasant for coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine in the evenings. It felt like home, except I can only wish my home was a tastefully and comfortably decorated as the cottage.The golf cart was a fun addition, and access was easy. We absolutely would stay again and would (and will) recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed the outdoor porch and balcony, the close proximity to town, the availability of the golf cart which we used repeatedly, and the ambiance of the house. It would have been a tight fit with three couples, which we had first considered, but it worked very well for the four of us.

Comfortable house, great location

We stayed here with our daughter and 2 grandsons. It was the perfect size for us. The upstairs balcony was the perfect place for some quiet time. We were close enough to the beach to walk our dogs down there, but we also loved having a golf cart to ride around in. Chris (the property manager) was great to reach out and see if we needed anything.
