A Little Overboard is the premiere vacation rental home in WaterSound Beach with exciting updates for the 2020 rental season!

A Little Overboard has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 + .5 baths and sleeps up to 14 people and is located steps away from the pristine sands of WaterSound Beach. This 4460 sq. ft. professionally designed and decorated home has everything you can imagine including a golf cart! The WaterSound Beach community is nestled along the south side of 30-A (beach side) and the entire community is gulf-front with multiple boardwalks leading to one mile of sugar white sand and pristine dunes.

Ground Floor: Entry foyer features a seat and bench with hooks. The elevator services the first and second floors. The master king bedroom has a beautiful king bed, 2 side chairs, floor lamp, 2 bedside tables and 2 lamps, and armoire with large 56” TV and DVD. Private master bath features an elegant double sinks, jetted tub, two dressing areas, large walk-in shower with 2 spray heads and large closet. French doors lead from the master to the front porch which faces one of the community’s pedestrian boardwalks. This porch has rockers, Adirondack chairs and a swinging bed – perfect for relaxing in the shade. Two separate adult/bunk bedrooms are on this floor. Each has a king bed and a bunk bed with 2 twins, dresser, 42” wall-mount TV, DVD player, closet and private bath with vanity sink and tub/shower. Laundry room with GE front loader washer and dryer. Powder room.

Second Floor: Spectacular great room and kitchen area. The dining area features a 12-person dining table plus there are 5 built-in stools at the kitchen island bar. The living area has a large sectional leather couch with lounging section, 2 lamps, gas log fireplace, built-in desk, wireless internet, whole house Audio System, an integrated lighting system, huge 56” TV and DVD. Kitchen has huge granite island with prep sink, farm style copper sink, double ovens, Wolf stove top with built-in griddle and grill, icemaker, frig with door water dispenser, microwave, 2 dishwashers, warming drawer and a pantry for food storage. French doors lead to the second story balcony which is outfitted with unique wood dining table and benches plus two seating areas with ample teak cushioned furniture. Another convenient powder room is located by the kitchen. Second king master suite with 2 bedside tables, 2 lamps, dresser, 52” TV, DVD and private bath with his/her vanity sinks, walk-in shower and 2 closets. Carriage house has the third King master suite and includes 2 bedside tables, 2 lamps, dresser, desk, LCD TV and private bath with vanity sink and shower. Gas BBQ grill is on deck between main house and carriage house.

Tower: Follow the stairs up to the watch tower with an outdoor balcony offering 2 tall bar stools and stunning panoramic Gulf views. Double futon sofa bed and LCD TV complement this area on the inside.

Outdoors: Relax by the 11 x 7 ten-person spa/splash pool that can be heated up to 100 degrees. Private patio with comfortable outdoor seating. Mini fridge and outdoor sink. Complimentary use of golf cart which can be used to get around the community. Two-car garage and additional driveway parking for 2 or 3 cars. Four adult bikes are also included. Please note, the outdoor fireplace is currently inoperable.

WaterSound Amenities: Puttering Park (18-hole putt-putt course), 2 community pools, Bike and Kayak Rentals, walking paths and boardwalks throughout community, fitness center (fees applicable), and Camp Creek Lake – one of the world’s few natural occurring coastal dune lakes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Regarding pricing, a housekeeping fee, $109 Vacation Rental Damage Plan fee and tax will be added to ALL rates.

NOTE: There are home security cameras on the exterior of the property. They are not monitored other than in times of vacancy.

Travel Insurance is optional and can be added at Guest's choosing.

Most stunning house

This is an AMAZING house. Jaw dropped when we walked in. Photos don’t do it justice. Fully stocked kitchen and very clean. Beach access is literally across the road from the front door. Julia and the property management team was so helpful and easy to work with. I will 1,000% rent this home again! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Perfect House for Holidays with the Family

House was perfect for our large family for an extended stay. We spent the holidays with our family of ten and couldn't have been happier. Spacious and Beautiful and everything we needed for our family gathering.

Horrible Vacation

Owner has thermostats programmed to not go below 70 degrees, which makes the house hot and humid during the night. If you open the windows to try to make it cooler, you will find live roaches, flies by the dozens, and strange moths throughout the house. Also, with windows open the jackhammering at 8 am across the street becomes more of an issue. The management company will say they are going to address the issues assuming you can get a response, but they will not. We had smoke detectors chirping during the night and could not sleep. The management company did absolutely nothing to address the issue. At one point they even lied to us and told us they fixed it and the thermostats while we were out for the day. Upon our return we quickly realized they had fixed neither. We ended up cutting our vacation short and leaving the house prior to our planned and paid for reservation date. Strongly recommend to avoid this house and especially the management company all together.

Texans beach vacation !

Great experience! The house was really nice and had plenty of space for 12 adults. The golf cart was helpful to run back and forth from the beach. The bikes made for some nice evening time cruises. Overall great communication and experience during our stay. Beach was clean and not crowded maybe 5 min from the house !

We love 30A!

This property was perfect for our two families of 4. With one adult child and three teenagers, the allocation of bedrooms and bathrooms was a spot on combination. Plenty of space to spread out and coming together for meals was wonderful at the huge dining table and the awesome island!!

Wonderful

This was our 6th time to stay in WaterSound but first to stay at A Little Overboard. We have always loved this quiet area, but will now be forever spoiled by staying in this lovely house. It was comfortable, easy, accommodating, and gorgeous in every way. We had a stretch of cloudy, rainy weather but we didn't mind because the house was so great. One of my favorite afternoons of the trip was reading on the porch swing bed while listening to the rain fall. Definitely recommend.

Perfect beach house & neighborhood!!

This home was gorgeous, we felt like we were in an HGTV dream home!!! This is an incredible gated community, close to Rosemary Beach & Seaside, which are beautiful, but Watersound is the place to be!! It’s your very own little paradise!! We rode bikes, walked on the boardwalks, took drives on the golf cart, ordered some Bruno’s pizza(delicious)!!! A little Overboard was exactly what our family needed!! The house is like walking into a magazine!!! Beautiful views &close to the beach!!!The beds were so comfortable,& decorated beautifully, everything was spotless! Huge gourmet kitchen, was fun to cook in! The house is a “smart” home, everything was controlled by an iPad! Super easy to use! The hot tub/pool was big & heated up in no time at all!!! We will definitely be coming back to A little Overboard!!!

Fantastic house!!

Loved the house. It was close to the beach boardwalk but we also had a golf cart to carry out beach gear. Loved the fact that it had all king beds, seeing we had no children with us. For those traveling with kids there were also bunk beds. The kitchen was well stocked. The house is a “smart house” which can be challenging to those of us that are technically challenged. Thankfully we had those in our group that weren’t, so we navigated thru just fine. Great weather, beautiful beach, wonderful food and great company could not ask for more. The rental managers were just awesome and pleasant to deal with. Some of the places we ate at were : Fish Out of Water ( excellent) ate outside the view was fabulous, and the food was excellent, great servers. The Vue on 30a. Again excellent food, service, and the view. Bud and Ally’s excellent as well, Wild Olives at Rosemary Beach, we enjoyed this one as well, good food and good service. Overall a great vacation. The house was very coastal inspired decor just beautiful. The WaterSound community is very beautiful and quiet, peaceful. We had some great bike rides and walks thru the area. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect House

We have rented multiple houses on 30A, but this one was hands down the best. The neighborhood is lovely...quieter than some of the other hot spots, yet a short golf cart ride to The Hub. The location to the boardwalk was perfect. The house was very clean and designed beautifully. Communication with the property manager was beyond pleasant. In all of our stays in the area, I've never experienced a more helpful property manager. They were phenomenal to work with. Overall, the location, the house and the property management team were definitely WAY Overboard! :-) Can't wait to go back!

Family Vacation

We stayed at the home for our family vacation before the kids return to school. We absolutely loved the home, everything was clean and the home was absolutely beautiful!!!! The were a couple of downsides. 1. There were ROACHES in the icemaker very disappointing!!! 2. There were female underwear which didn't belong to anyone in my party found under one beds downstairs. The location of the home was perfect and the Hub up the street was very convenient and really cool. The Wal-Mart which everyone loves is waaaaay to far but refreshing once we found out the liquor store was on the inside ... Great Move Wal-Mart! Overall the trip was great and we really enjoyed the home and privacy!!!! We will definitely consider this property in the future!!!!

Overall nice property-well constructed, great location. WaterSound is a great relaxing NW FL beach.

WaterSound community has a large beautiful beach. With a smaller number of homes compared to other beach communities, the WS beaches are a lot, less crowded also. This beach house Included nice amenities including the use of the golf cart and available beach towels. We experienced a couple initial operational issues which were handled well by rental mgmt Co.

Very Nice Property

A very nice property; only complaint is I would of liked to of been closer to the beach. Hauling our gear back and forth each day gets tiresome with kids but golf cart does helps. A great neighborhood, home is perfect for large family gatherings.

A Little Overboard is "over the moon."

The property is truly a luxury home, and our 5 grandchildren and their parents raved about all its features when we set eyes on it and walked through. There was plenty of room to spread out, and everyone seemed to stake out their favorite spots. My husband could be found in the watch tower (anytime he went missing) with its beach views. On our first walk to the beach, we were truly amazed at the huge dunes that protect WaterSound. It is a special place. We enjoyed the community pool, but the children surprisingly preferred the splash pool at the house. The bikes provided gave the children the freedom to ride around the WaterSound community, and we felt comfortable letting them do that. The golf cart was very handy helping us get all our beach "stuff" down the boardwalk a ways, and I drove it to the Puttering Park to play a round with my 13-year old golfer. The kitchen is in a whole other league, and I enjoyed using the best appliances out there - especially the Wolf stovetop with its built-in griddle and warming drawer (for morning stragglers who expect their breakfast ready and waiting ;). My husband and I loved having the carriage house to escape to or turn in early if we didn't want to play "one more round" of a game. Our time there in WaterSound could not have been better, and we look forward to experiencing some magical family time again there next summer. Many thanks to Elena and her associates.

Love, Love this house and Community!

This is the best house for a large family with kids to stay in. It is walking distance to a pool and beach. The golf cart that came with the house was an added plus! This community is so quiet and family oriented! Definitely would recommend this house to families!
