It was amazing! Such a cute condo and a great location! The pics are very accurate. It wasnât crowded like other places which was great with kids. Will definitely stay here again!
as advertised. great location for the price. I was in town for a wedding and my friends that were as
no problems once we found it. GPS was not on the same page as the real location. I finally had to as directions. I would recommend the property Plus saty their again.
To start I will say the property and room are very nice. Renovations to the room itself looked amazing. I love design features and the owners did well . Check in was fine. We were told the elevator would not be working so we were prepared to use the stairs. First issue we had was we noticed the unit was not warming up. Now grant it this is a vacation rental on the beach but it still gets cold at certain times of the year and we were there during one of those times. The host made this listing to appeal to snowbirds but did not allow the heat to be turned on âŠ.. the property owners RealJoy vacations made us aware of this once we were finally able to get someone on the phone . Communication was not quick to say the least. The property owners did offer to bring us portable heaters to make the mornings more comfortable. The rooms and space was very clean I will say and thatâs always a plus! The one drawback is the shower water does not warm up. It was lukewarm if that and being the ocean water and temps were already low a warm shower wouldâve been nice. We did love the heated pool . Everything else about our stay was fine . The elevator not working was not enjoyable when walking to and from the beach and pool. The day we were leaving check out was 10 am . The house cleaner was there waiting on us because due to not having an elevator we needed a bit more time. We felt rushed for sure. We would stay at the property again if the elevator were fixed and it was a different unit.
AC didn't work. Condo never got below 80 degrees. Management sent someone to stick a portable AC in the bedroom, duct-taped to the window, which helped some at night, but otherwise the condo was very warm.
Management indicated that they would offer some sort of reimbursement for our staying 4 nights with no AC, but it has been 2.5 weeks without a word.
Condo has been nicely updated, however the AC & thermostat remains from 1976 it appears.
Beaches, pool & surrounding areas are great. Food at the pool restaurant is mediocre at best (especially for the price). Could have been a really nice stay but having no AC and no refund (partial or otherwise) made it not so pleasant. We'd return to the area, but not this unit.
Also, check in was a disaster. The electronic check-in process was not working, and there was little to no communication between the security guards and the management - there was some difficulty getting past the gate, but they finally let us in.
Spent half the first day roaming about the property trying to find someone to provide a QR code so we could come and go from the property. Beach and water activities were great. Owner and management of this unit need to do a better job. It was a good vacation sullied by too many issues.
Stay was great. The unit seems to have been recently renovated and was clean with nice finishes and amenities. Only minor issue is gets a bit warm during the day in the unit but the addition of the box fans and ocean breezes cool the unit during the evening.
