Our golf cart is available for $150/wk. It is shown in the rate quote as the Property Fee.

** The video of our property shows a small 4th bedroom. This bedroom has been converted to an owner's closet. We no longer have a small 4th bedroom.

'Don't Worry, Be Happy' is located just 1000 ft away from the beautiful white sands of Panama City Beach. Our home is just a short walk to the gorgeous Emerald Coast Beaches or you can take our golf cart (added fee) to the beach or for a drive around the neighborhood! The backyard is completely fenced in with a 6' privacy fence.

Step out the back door into your own private paradise. The back yard has a private pool that features a large deck so you can get plenty of sun laying by the pool. There is also a sun shelf in the pool that is made to put two chairs in the pool along with a beach umbrella between them.

Don't Worry, Be Happy is a 3BR/2BA beach home that has been furnished with those special extras that will make your vacation more relaxing. The 50” TV in the Living Room will allow you to catch the game or watch a movie. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need, whether you just want to brew a cup of coffee or prepare a full meal for everyone in the house.

The Master Bedroom features a King size bed and a private bathroom with a walk in closet. The second bedroom has a Queen sized bed with the guest bathroom just outside the door. The 3rd bedroom is a converted sun room that has a twin over full bunk bed.

The laundry room features a full size washer and dryer.

Don't Worry, Be Happy has a Television in both the Master bedroom and the Queen bedroom in addition to the 50” Television and DVD player in the Living Room. We keep a golf cart at the house for our guests to take to the beach or just go for a pleasant ride through the neighborhood (additional fee).

There are plenty of golfing opportunities within a few miles of our home. Rosemary Beach is about a 10 minute drive away and offers clay court tennis weekly memberships or lessons. Pier Park is about a 10 minute drive away.

Very clean house. Beds comfortable. Very close to beach access and golf cart was great. We could fit our family of 6 plus our beach gear on cart and go to beach in just a few minutes. We brought our own beach gear but it looks like they provided a lot - except an umbrella. Pool was clean but extremely hot- probably bc not shaded. Just don’t expect it to be refreshing in the heat of summer- it was hotter than a hot tub! That was our biggest disappointment. We’ve never had that issue with other pools in Florida and we’ve stayed in this area many times. The kitchen could use more plates and cups- we didn’t have enough for lunch and dinner unless we ran the dishwasher in between. Also they gave just enough bath towels for one per person- would also recommend they get another set. Overall this is a good choice for a clean house that’s close to the beach.

PCB Pirate Show Family Trip

Quiet neighborhood location in dead end street
close to the beach and grocery stores. Nice pool and living space is very adequate and well laid out. Fairly clean and well maintained. Might look to put fresh coat of paint on the trim and doors for fresher look. Board games along with instructions for using the Roku TV appreciated. Might look to add rinse agent to the dishwasher and additional lightbulb to the half bath. Golf cart nice amenity but not sure of any strong confidence in longevity of the battery
speed seems very limited.

Great location & communication!

We had a wonderful! I am single mom with two boys and we felt completely safe in this neighborhood! There were some issues with the golf cart tires from a previous guest, but the owner had his cleaners come to fix it so we had the golf cart for the rest of our stay! The cleaners were so kind and the owner was great to communicate! The walk to the beach even without the golf cart was so pleasant and short! Highly recommend this home for families and kids. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was even better than anticipated. I had requested unscented cleaning and laundry/linens, to avoid migraines, and the house on arrival was lovely, clean and unscented. The host was quick to respond to questions during reservation and during our stay. We especially loved evening dips in the small pool, starry skies, and riding around in the breezy golf cart. We would definitely go back, though perhaps before the June heat wave.

This was an excellent home for our family of 5. Had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. The location is top notch- quiet neighborhood within a minute drive on the golf cart to beach access. The beach was never packed and had plenty of family friendly space to enjoy the emerald ocean. Kids loved jumping waves, and finding sand dollars and crabs. I did wipe down high surface areas on doors and light switches but other than that the home was very clean. We made wonderful memories here- thank you!!

Jim and Melissa are wonderful hosts. They never pause to call you when you need them and never make you feel as if you are a "bother". Just the very best people that truly make you feel right-at-home. I made meals for the family every day and that did include breakfast thru supper. I did not need to search for any pot, pan or utensil. LOVE having the washer and dryer. Pool was perfect. Pool cleaning ppl came and went quickly. The neighborhood would easily be at the top of my list to move to. Family friendly. Wonderful neighbors. Made small talk with a few and just wonderful ppl. The gold cart is always nice to have. Days that may be off and on-again storms, won't put a damper on your stay, there are many places to go and visit and have fun that are truly a stone's throw away.

Overall great!! Pool is very small and not noticeable in pics. The golf cart was a lifesaver!! House is close enough to the beach but just far enough that walking back from beach end of day with kids would be a nightmare so the golf cart was MUCH appreciated!! And hubs took the kids out on it several times and they loved it! Very spacious home for our family of 6!! And we have teens, a pre-teen and a little. We really enjoyed the home and all of the extras like pool and beach stuff. Lots of extra pillows! Grilled out one night with the provided grill. Thank you!

Home Away From Home

I’ve now stayed at DWBH four times. The private pool is great! The location is wonderful you’re out of the hustle and bustle of PCB and so the beach is never over crowed. The house isn’t far from the beach and the golf cart makes it super accessible to get there. We always feel super comfortable in the house it feels like we are at home!

Very cute and quiet neighborhood! Golf cart was very helpful. Garage full of toys and chairs for the beach. The pool wasn’t heated and was little chilly for swimming in October. We would love to come back, the hosts were very accommodating.

The Perfect Getaway
