Beautifully decorated beach cottage on the QUIET West End of PCB! Super close to area restaurants on 30A and Pier Park, and only minutes from lots of attractions. Golf cart friendly neighborhood and only a few minutes walk to beach access 87. Hot tub brand new in 2024 to soak your cares away after a fun day at the beach! Any dog is OK and our cottage has a fenced yard and a pet station! You will love the Calm Palm!!
The space
Our cottage is located on the west end of Panama City Beach just steps from the beautiful sandy beaches. We are in the popular Rivera Beach neighborhood, just a few miles either way to Pier Park or 30A. We love the mix of families, retirees, seasonal neighbors and rentals here. The Calm Palm was designed as a relaxing retreat close to the beach, yet far from the crowds and the elevator waits in the high rises. Excellent local restaurants and several grocery stores are just minutes away. Our home is fairly new to the rental market so you will find it well stocked beyond the usual beach house.

The cottage sits only 3 small blocks to the beautiful soft white sand beach and gorgeous water of the Emerald Coast. We are located right between public beach access #87 and #88, so choose your favorite! #87 has great parking and a new pedestrian walk light. Walking to the beach is super quick and super easy! We are happy to recommend some local golf cart rental companies that will deliver and pick up the cart to the house if you would like to have a golf cart during your stay. Just ask!

If you prefer to drive your car, that opens your opportunities all along the west end and beyond. Laguna Beach is a short drive up Front Beach with plenty of parking by Carousel Market and Thomas Doughnuts. There are over 90 public beach accesses in PCB, room for everyone.

Everything about this luxury cottage says relax and stay awhile. From the cozy rockers on the front porch, to the garage stocked with everything you need for a great vacation, to inside the house designed with calming colors and a modern coastal vibe, to the amazing fenced back yard with fire pit, stunning pergola, comfy outdoor sectional in a beautiful screened porch and a hot tub to relax your worries away. Even your 4 legged family members are welcome and safe in our fenced in yard.

Once inside the door, you'll find a beautiful living room with seating for the whole group to play games or watch a movie on the 70 inch smart TV with streaming available to watch your favorite show or series. Super fast WIFI allows multiple devices to stream, work, zoom school, or play a game online.

That room opens into a fully stocked kitchen full of supplies to cook with. We have a huge coffee/wine bar with many drink options to start and end your days. Gather all 8 of you around the massive table and share a meal. We feel strongly that vacation is the time for busy families to have the chance to eat together. It was important to us to provide enough seating to make that happen. We have a full sized fold up highchair in the twin bedroom closet for the smaller guests to join in too.

The bedrooms provide ultimate privacy and relaxation for everyone. The very private primary bedroom is in the back of the house overlooking the beautiful yard. It is a gorgeous room filled with soothing luxurious bedding, a 55 inch TV ready to stream, even an artesian make up table and mirror with plenty of storage for your things. There are USB and power outlets on the back of the nightstands to keep you connected. Blackout shades and thick curtains provide restful sleep on the brand new hybrid mattress with both inner springs to support and memory foam to cradle you in comfort. The very private master bath has double sinks, large soaking tub, and separate shower. This light filled room is your very own spa escape as you soak away your cares. The 2nd bedroom is a private second master with a brand new king bed and custom closet for your things. The dual night stands each have a USB outlet to keep connected. The 3rd bedroom is a haven for either adults or children with cozy twin beds with memory foam toppers. No uncomfortable and awkward bunks, so very user friendly for everyone! Each room has a 55 inch streaming TV, newer mattresses, USB outlets and lots of storage for your belongings. They are also equipped with blackout shades and heavy curtains to allow everyone to sleep late on vacation! The twin bedroom closet holds a pack and play for the tiniest guests, full size high chair, and bedding for the quality sofa sleeper in the living room for the last 2 guests. The hallway bath with bathtub and shower is stocked full of fluffy towels for those guests.

Laundry is easily done in the brand new in 2024 full size stacked washer and dryer with supplied laundry soap and dryer sheets. There’s a vacuum if needed and storage of beach towels, crock pot, and laundry baskets for you to use. The garage is full of beach supplies. Chairs, umbrella, floats, sand toys, cooler and much more. We even have an inflatable SUP board and paddle for our guests to use as well. Yoga mats stored above the washer/dryer for your use.

The back yard completes the Zen retreat feel. Landscaped in 2024, our yard has been transformed into an oasis with plantings, a pergola good for morning yoga practice, sunbathing on the lounge chairs, or happy hour as the sun sets. Read a book or share a bottle of wine under the outdoor chandelier, or listen to your favorite tunes by plugging your device into the USB outlet there. On the other side of the yard is a wood burning fire area with chairs and an artist made manta ray shaped steel fire bowl. There is an additional outlet and USB on that side too for your tunes. The covered lanai has a comfortable outdoor sectional to eat around the coffee table or to share stories around. End your night by taking turns in the outdoor hot tub under the stars. At night our yard is transformed into a glowing space with carefully placed landscape lighting. Come make some memories at the Calm Palm!
