Condo was great for families. We really enjoyed our stay. You can tell it is a well loved unit by families with kids. The childproof balcony locks were damaged but our kids knew they must have an adult to go out. We've stayed at Splash before but in smaller units. I loved this being a corner unit with a large balcony. We would stay here again!

In general I will say the property is in good location, but the place is old. The is obvious that was done some improvements, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, the living room furniture was old and unclean. You cannot enjoy sitting in the living room, for kids sleeping place, is not bedroom, there is not a door and it is noisy because closed to air condition units. I would not like to rent this condo again.

Amazing location and beautiful condo setup. Really can't beat the views, beach and amenities. As other reviewers noted, the condo could use a deep clean and elevators can be slow in peak times. But I recommend and would 100% stay here again.

Unsafe elevator incident turned our vacation into a nightmare

While the room itself was nice, our overall experience was deeply distressing and has left lasting emotional effects on our family.During our stay, my 6-year-old son and my diabetic father-in-law became stuck in an elevator for over an hour. Thankfully, the elevator was not crowded at the time, but during the rest of our stay, the elevators were consistently packed due to only two being available for a 21-floor building. There was no air conditioning or ventilation in the elevators, and to make matters worse, the emergency call button did not work.My son was screaming, and it was only because other guests heard him that staff were alerted. Hotel employees eventually pried the doors open, but no emergency responders were ever called. This lack of protocol is unacceptable and extremely unsafe.This incident turned what was supposed to be a fun family vacation into a traumatic experience. My son is still dealing with the emotional impact of what happened. I’m sharing this review in the hope that the resort will take immediate steps to improve safety measures and emergency response protocols so that no other family has to go through what we did.

Cute condo with perfect layout

The layout of the condo is perfect for 2 families! We were not super impressed with the cleanliness when we arrived. The resort itself was very accomodating for the range of ages of children we had with us. Elevators were slow on peak time (4-6) only on the weekend. Otherwise, very doable for the size of the resort. Would definitely stay again!

Unit Building

As much as we loved this beautiful unit, we unfortunately vowed to never stay in this building again. It was a rough week anytime we left the room. The biggest problem was the elevators. At one point, half of our family was stranded 15 floors down away from our family. We were there for over an hour before the first responders and staff got one of the elevators working. One time, myself, my wife and children were riding it and it stopped before dropping a few inches. We seriously thought we were going to die in there. Like I said, the elevators were just one issue. We also noticed multiple roaches by the pools, rats under the steps. Also hated how far of a walk the parking was. With 5 small children, this was tough. Overall though, we loved the actual condo. Just wish it was in a building.

We stayed 8 days and was overall satisfied with the stay. There was sand in the beds when we arrived and all over the floors so we had to clean ourselves.

Great for kids lacked cleanliness

We loved our stay here being on the beach and the amenities the multiple pools and splash pads provided. The pools were heated to a great temperature for the kids and adults to use even though it was early march. We walked on the beach daily and could easily use the large balcony with our huge group. the kitchen was a little lacking in utensils and as another reviewer mentioned the ice maker did not work for our stay (did not contact Maintenace). Upon arrival and opening the door little dust bunnies blew all over the flooring when we walked in. I was a little surprised as i expected it to have been cleaned. Upon reviewing the condo i found the baseboards and trim to be caked in not only a full layer of dust but some type of pet/animal hair. This made my stay extremely difficult. I book properties that are specific no pets as i have severe pet allergies, i lived on Benadryl the entire week as i had itchy watery eyes and allergy issues the full week. I was sorely disappointed in the cleanliness compared to what i saw in other reviews. The common areas of the condo and amenities offered were great! the pictures were a very accurate reflection and despite the cleanliness issue we found check-in to be great and easy the parking garage easy to access and the stores nearby were a huge extra! We liked the setup of the condo and everything it offered!
