But the beach was nice

This morning Sunday July 20th at 0500 I asked the front lady who was on her phone if she can make coffee and she said no, there was none to make. When I checked in they said 24/7 coffee. She was lazy. Elevators are scary too. Get a tetanus shot if you enter.

The view from our balcony was amazing, it was very roomy and very clean. I would recommend this place to anyone, I only had a problem with the ad said it had a stovetop and all it had a refrigerator and microwave, but overall it was great

Pros: The staff was very accommodating and made things very easy because I was able to do mobile check-in and communicate with the front desk via text. They responded promptly and addressed any needs. We’ve stayed here multiple times in the past and thought we’d give it another try. Pool was clean. Cons: I did not mention this to the staff but our room smelled like sewage a lot of the time. I know they would have accomated a room change had I mentioned it, though. I was made aware at check-in that room service is only available on the 4th day unless requested, but I did have to text for more clean towels and toilet papers before then and they brought them up the next day. The drawers in our room did not catch, so you had to be very careful when opening them or they would fall out on your feet. One fell out and crushed my husband’s toe. These are minor things really because our overall experience was great.

The bed was short sheeted. No top sheet. For sure the duvet does not get cleaned between guests. There was no way I was putting that on my body. Plus there was a gap under the door that critters could easily have fit through. Never again.

This property has pros and cons, but I wouldn't stay here again unless there were a complete renovation. Pros: Friendly staff Parking Beach access Ocean views Cons: Dirty rooms Old and broken furniture Poorly-stocked kitchenette and bathroom Terrible elevators Dirty stairwells Dirty property Run-down pool area and outdoor shower Expensive for the condition of the property I expected this beachfront hotel to be older based on the price, but I didn't expect it to be filthy and in disrepair. It needs to be gutted and renovated to make it better if it wants to keep going. For over $300 per night, I expected a clean room. However, the floors were filthy, and the bathroom wasn't much better. The tub was pitted and patched, and the toilet seat needed to be replaced. There were not enough towels for my family. The kitchenette was one of the reasons I chose this property to help save money on food by being able to cook in the room. However, it was poorly stocked. It was nice to have dish soap, but there were no kitchen rags, towels, or potholders. There were a few scratched-up pots and pans, a pitiful amount of silverware, mismatched cups, and three plates. There was a drink pitcher but no mixing bowls, and there were a few serving spoons. I wasn't expecting a muffin tin, so I brought my own and ended up using the drink pitcher to mix muffins for my family. The oven worked, but it was dirty. I'm not sure if the stove worked, but it was very dirty inside the burner drip pans.

Its okay on a budget

The hotel is in a good location, it had everything you needed and our balcony overlooked the beach, the staff was ok. The property however is very old and outdated and it wasnt clean. Our room was clean enough but everything was very old.The elevators worked but noisy and slow the outside was very dirty and our hallway to elevators constantly had trash stacked up. It is right on the beach so that is perfect and attractions are close by. Its q low budget place but they did take pets. There is no grass for your pets the lot next door is abandoned and trashy

I feel if this hotel were to do some renovations and improved their cleaning techniques, it would be an overall amazing spot. We liked that it was beach front and a good location for activities. However, when we arrived we had to buy a swiffer mop and clean our floors multiple times due to how dirty they are. Even after that, our feet would still be almost black from how dirty the floor is. Our room had multiple spots of the ceiling coming apart. Bedsid stable drawer was stained inside with dark unknown substance, we did not use. Beds, bathroom tub and vanity sink area was very clean though. Staff was also very friendly. For the building itself, one of the elevators at the hotel has broken tile pieces in the elevator, covered up with a mat. Until major fixes are done to this hotel, we will not be staying here again.

Ultimate relaxation

Check in was slow, and behind about 30 minutes. Otherwise we had a great, relaxing stay. The bonfire on the beach with s'mores was awesome. (Fridays only).

The staff and location were great! Easy beach access and walkable to nearby shops and restaurants. The pool was clean and towles were laid out daily. The room was comfortable for 4 people, pleanty of space to spread out. The check in process was a bit of an issue, we had to wait an hou and a half past check in time for the room to be ready, and when we finally got checked in and walked up to our room it was still being cleaned. The staff was very appolgetic for our wait. I liked the touches of text messages to welcome us and to tell us about a bonfire on the beach one night. We will definitely be back.
