Cottage La Dolce Agogia Panicale
A territory rich in history and traditions The will to share the love for simple but authentic things with others, making them feel part of our family. From all this comes "la Dolce agogia" If what you are looking for is a place to sleep immersed in the quiet of the Umbrian/Tuscan countryside while remaining in contact with the comforts of the city centre, La Dolce Agogia is the ideal location for your stay in the green heart of Italy.
Elisa welcomed us upon arrival and responded very quickly to questions throughout our stay. The cottage is very cozy and fully equipped. The bed was comfortable, and the two air conditioners were great. The garden is large and comfortable. There are no panoramic views, but you're staying in an olive grove. A provincial road runs alongside it, but we weren't bothered by it much. It's a great base for exploring Umbria and Tuscany. We recommend this property.
Elisa's cottage is a thoughtfully curated place with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Panicale. She is an incredibly responsive host, and we truly felt like her guests. She greeted us with a bottle of local wine and even sent some fresh eggs round during our stay which were delicious! We were there during a heat wave which meant the air conditioning in two rooms (the bedroom and the lovely sitting area) was a welcome feature. We had a fabulous time and plan to return! Thank you, Elisa!
Overall, this was probably the best Italian rental we have ever had. The location just beneath the wonderful hill top town of Panicale makes exploring both Umbria & southern Tuscany very doable. The million dollar view of the grove & surrounding hills from the sun room was a daily treat. Elisa has decorated the cottage with impeccable taste. We were there for a month & appreciated the deep monthly discount. If you go for only a few days, you will want to return for a month! The large bed is very comfortable & having a dish washer was a real treat. The location is not shown correctly on the listing map - it is even better! Elisa met us in town to show us the way there.
