The room was overall ok, but the bathroom needs renovation. The bed was great, the staff was always nice and helpful. The location is perfect.

Pros- Abat, Asia and Audrey were very courteous and friendly. Asia and Audrey were pleasant and informative. Asia was helpful and proactive in assisting me. -liked the small area just as you enter the room, separated by a door before the bedroom so I can leave my shoes and bedroom slippers there. -Room cleanliness was 8/10. -reception staff Abat had kindly assisted in change of room. As a light sleeper, the first room assigned was very unsuitable for me. Had barely 4 hours of sleep on the first two nights due to room facing the road. Change was only available on the 3rd night onwards. Very much needed and appreciated. Overall stay was very good. Room was comfortable. Bed was firm. Did not use the kitchenette but glad it was at my disposal to keep my epicerie butter to bring home. Location was excellent. Close to several Metros. The Bastille/ republique/ oberkampf vibe is always fun. Cons - as the rooms have Kitchenette, the smell of cooked food from other rooms permeated the corridors. Seriously, it’s Paris , there is good food everywhere. Although I prefer to clean the room once every 2 days, only 1 day was designated for a 6 night stay. Overall the stay was enjoyable. It’s more like 4.5 stars
