The location of this hotel is outstanding which mitigates the age of the room and furnishings. It isn’t posh by any means yet the homey feeling and hot water worked very well for us. The Anvers metro station (on line 2) is very close and easy to navigate. Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur are in walking distance. We enjoyed staying here.

No air conditioning (2 units in room looked great but we’re “under repair”) and fans were subpar and temps in high 90’s. Same with other guests. charged €2.00 for a tiny cup of black coffee. No wash cloths. Wouldn’t allow us to eat food from next door, at rickety table and chairs “for hotel patrons only”…even though we were patrons. Live and learn.

Place needs updated bad but if you’re traveling to Paris for the first time and all you’re doing is sleeping there and taking a shower then it’s fine. But definitely not something I’d want to o stay at for a long while we were only there 2 nights and that was more than enough. It’s also like a three minute walk to the metro and probably 10 minutes from the Sacré-Cœur which is cool

Went with my friend and stayed in one of the smaller rooms. definitely was a little small but it worked for us since we were only passing through. staff was really nice and helpful, we didn't spend much time there because we wanted to explore the city but it was perfect for our one night stay. Also there was a food market and park right across the street, super cute with good food and was perfect for a picnic and feeling like a local. Everything else was pretty close by or if we had to take the metro it was right across the street as well.
