The hotel has soooo much potential, and yet for us it didn't live up to the mark. Its location is exemplary- next to Louvre, Samaritan, pont neuf, latin quarter, Rue de Rivoli- oh I could go on! It was clean. Here is where it failed, and I do hope that they think on this: Small hotel. Small, dark room- we booked a triple since we were three, and the room had zero view, a little light from the windows, and saddest, dark bathroom. The shower was never aligned correctly, and the bathroom steamed up even with the window open. I saw slippers were in the housekeeping caddy but we didn't receive a single one- not sure if this 4 star material? Rather cold staff for the most part- they were to the point, sometimes curt and moody, sometimes ( depended on who sat at the front) smiling. We did get help for ride to airport, but honestly that's part of the bare minimum service. Evening/ afternoon staff is better, smiling. Sometimes we got directions, and recommendations, but never a conversation, or a dialogue, or even the slightest curiosity. I would suggest that this become a part of the experience. The reception is small- you cannot sit and relax there, so maybe music needs to replace that cold atmosphere. Our room was tiny so we didn't even have much choice:( We just didn't feel super welcome. It felt transactional. There is a water jar and paper cups at the reception, a coffee machine we didn't use, and croissants- 2 in a jar that appear after breakfast ( probably left overs).

Phenomenal Hotel in the Heart of Paris.

My family and I enjoyed wonderful stay at the Relaid du Louvre Hotel, a charming, incredibly well-located hotel in Paris. This is an ideal location if you want to be in the heart of Paris. It was our first time bringing our young son, and it was ideal for us as we were able to walk or take short metro or boat taxi rides to all the spots you want to see -- the Louvre (right across the street), the Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame (easy walk) and so on. The hotel is also right near a lot of great bistros, bakeries, and coffee shops. Nothing was hard to find and it allowed for meandering walks through Paris. For adults, the location makes it easy to get to some of the best, trendiest places in Paris -- the Marais, St. Germain, and more. The staff here are incredibly kind and helpful and the hotel serves one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a hotel. We looked forward to these every day. Highly recommend this little gem, and we will certainly be back!

We absolutley loved this hotel. The location was perfect for walking to many sites we wanted to visit and close to transportation options. The staff was top notch! They went above and beyond and were so helpful. We loved this place so much that when our flight was canceled and we got 2 extra nights, we chose to go back to this hotel when we could have gone anywhere since the airline was paying. 10/10 would recommend! We will be back next time we are in Paris!

This is a lovely hotel right next to the Louvre and an easy walk to Norte Dame and Pont Neuf metro station. The staff is amazing! Courteous, informative and friendly. I will stay here again when in Paris.

I have stayed in many different Paris hotels over the years, and this one is definitely my favorite. I prefer hotels with character, and this one has it. The folks who run the hotel are amazingly friendly and helpful, and everything is in immaculate condition. While the rooms aren't massive (and they can't be due to the history of the building), the furnishings are very nice and the bathroom is truly next level and clever. The location is _perfect_. You can walk to most places of interest (e.g., the Louvre, of course, or Notre Dame), access the metro conveniently, and there are great dining and shopping options in close proximity. Most importantly, due to its location next to Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois, it is actually rather quiet despite its proximity to everything Paris has to offer. This is the perfect hotel and I definitely plan to stay there the next time I visit.

The proximity to the church and architectural views are stunning. The bath tubs are very nice to soak in after a day of walking. The food is superb, and the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everything you might need is a few short blocks away. Forgot gloves? There are souvenir shops with plenty to keep you warm.
